cryptique
I didn't tell you who you couldn't dislike. I just called your reasoning ridiculous. We were moving on, last I heard.
jakobnicholas
Any buzz on any great commercials? We'll probably get our usual guys-are-dumb beer ads....which lately have been lame-o. Coca-cola's supposed to have a few new ones, which I usually like. Dreamworks is gonna have a 90-second ad for "Monsters and Aliens"....in 3-D. (You can pick up free 3-D glasses at some grocery stores and gas stations.) And Pixar will have an ad for "Up".
myboyblue
I believe that Shannon Sharpe is going to have some hilarious avocado commercials.
Duck-Billed Catechist
I'm going to call around media outlets to promote the DeBeers diamond cartel.
Gobias Industries
I've heard Bob Dylan and Will I Am are singing about Pepsi...in the same commercial. What is this world coming to? I'm not sure why they have to wrap a football game around Bruce..... It just delays the one hour episode of The Office True that.

cryptique
Super Bowl Sneak Peek for adsWow. Those are weak. The CareerBuilder one is terrible. And why does E-Trade think we want to watch a baby throwing up?

bjorn_skurj
Kurt Warner was the winning QB for the Giants in the only Giants game I have ever seen in person, so he's OK by me. That said, I loved the Steelers when I was a little kid, so go Pittsburgh!
gogo
And I thought this thread was going to be all about football! I'm sorry I avoided it for so long. Anyway... I've heard Bob Dylan and Will I Am are singing about Pepsi...in the same commercial. What is this world coming to?DC during the inauguration was lousy with pins with those new Pepsi ads on them ("HOPE" or "JOY" or whatever, with the Pepsi logo for the O). So they're definitely trying to tie "drink Pepsi" to "love Obama". Also, I like that e-trade baby.
Analogman
I'd like to have one of those pins.
gogo
If I had one I'd send it to you, but I didn't snag any, because we're Coke people.

Sweet Papa Crimbo
Now, I am thinking of North Dallas Forty. I'll tell you what. That's nice...the guy from West Virginia calling the guy from Texas a hick. Mr. Kettle...Mr. Pott calling.
tongue-tied lightning
I actually heard on some sports-radio morning show earlier this week that she has had a complete makeover and is completely unrecognizable from the aforementioned look. Frankly, I'm afraid to do a Google Images search for Brenda Warner. not to shabby if ya ask me

Just because Bobby attends Tom Landry Middle School? LOL And just for the record, we have an interstate named for Landry, but no schools that I know of.

Moss
Speaking of super bowl commercials, I heard yesterday that some company paid for a 1 second commercial and thought it sounded like a great idea for some small company for publicity. Then I found out it was Miller High Life?
