H-Bomb Henry
The roughing the passer call was a bad call. The other two were not. That running into the holder was bogus. The guy pulled up...it wasn't like he plowed him over. Oh there is another drive killer. Hold on the Cardinals.

A sad day for the QB position.

A sad day for the QB position.Yeah, I think Harrison crossed the goal line before he was down. He was on top of Fitzgerald and no part of his body touched the ground (again, the rules) before the ball broke the goal line. Roethlisberger isn't a great QB, but he still has time to become one. Warner has a better career yards per attempt, completion percentage and passer rating (93.8) than John Elway, Joe Montana, Tom Brady, Fran Tarkenton, Roger Staubach, Jim Kelly and Troy Aikman. I think he's a pretty good quarterback.
Beltmann
Rules and facts have nothing to do with the narratives that play in our heads, sucker.
cryptique
It was pretty clear that Harrison got across the goal line. Amazing play, but it's almost too bad that it happened, because this might have been a hell of a Super Bowl without it (especially if the Cardinals had gotten the touchdown on that play instead). edit: OK, I guess I hadn't looked at the score in a few minutes. Steelers 20, Cardinals 14. Maybe this will turn out to be a good one after all.
caliber66
I'm sure the officials will figure out a way to make the safety they just called somehow be a benefit to the Steelers.
Moss
Wow, exciting ending

H-Bomb Henry
Crazy. I'll take that lame comment back. This game finally accelerated a bit.
Beltmann
After that Arizona TD, I leaped up and shouted, um, something. Almost immediately, I heard the pitter-patter of footsteps marching down the hallway. Then I saw my daughter standing there, glaring at me with her arms crossed. "Daddy, why did you say a naughty word? You said a naughty word and woke me up!" "You're right, Kael. I should have said Holy cow."

H-Bomb Henry
What a great story for the corner boy. I think Pittsburg won because Polomalu prayed before and after every play. Fuck Dick LeBlow. Congrats Stealers
mountain bed
That Ben is one cool customer. And Santonio - what a clutch player. Unreal ending. Congrats, Kris (and all you Steelers fans).
OOO
2 classic Superbowls in a row. Good work, teams!
Moss
Yeah, congrats. They earned that one.
Moss
I'm so glad I tuned in to see Bruce slide 20 feet on his knees into the camera guy. Looked like he might have taken a shot to the pills with that one.

LouisvilleGreg
Is Roger Federer a Cardinal fan? Ouch! That was a great Aussie Final. I felt fairly confident that Ben would find a way to score with 2 mins left. He's done it again and again. No surprise he did it on the big stage. Springsteen was pretty damn good, now I just hope I get my GA's in the morning.
dondoboy
As a non believer, is it ok for me to thank god Warner didn't win? Great game, great finish.
Tweedling
That was a good game but a horrible finish. No doubt that last play was an incomplete pass. I can't believe they didn't review it.
Edie
They did -- I understand it was a booth review and they agreed with the call.
