Guest Speed Racer
A thread for the rest of us! List your THREE favorite EP/single/soundtrack/roadcase cuts. THREE: ONE, TWO, THREE. NO side projects (sorry, Pecan Pie/Chinese Apple lovers);NO solo tracks (you Crack a Smile/Red Elevator fiends); NO live tracks off of boots or Roadcase shows - HOWEVER, if you really like that sweet, sweet live solo acoustic take of "I'm Always in Love" off one of those promo singles, since it is officially a Wilco non-album release, that's fair game.Mermaid Avenue? Eh, discouraged, but I won't stop you.DEMOS COUNT. If "Corduroy Cut-Off Girl" makes you swoon, go nuts.Edit: WILCO BOOK WELCOME! That shit is off the hook. I'll tally after a while. Questions? Comments? Smart remarks? I don't care. I'll go first: 1. More Like the Moon2. Magazine Called Sunset3. Blasting Fonda

choo-choo-charlie
there's an IATTBYH soundtrack? how does one get it? i own the DVD, but i'd love to have the audio from it...killer versions of some songs on there...minus jay bennett singing "my darling." i love his playing and the music created when he was in wilco, no doubt, but don't care for his solo acoustic take on it. Guest Speed Racer
What about covers? In the case of tracks like, "Who Were You Thinkin' Of?" or "Any Major Dude," yes, because they are on official releases. In the case of "Don't Fear the Reaper," only performed at some really bitchin' shows, sadly no.
Doug C
Yes please! The 'More Like The Moon' version. Dammit!! Now I'm thinking about 'Handshake Drugs' from that EP!
