jff
The Loft facebook page posted a photo today of Geddy Lee visiting Jeff Tweedy/The Loft. I think it'd be pretty cool if Geddy wound up recording a solo album there with Jeff producing, and it'd probably bring out something new in Geddy's music, It'd be funny if Geddy incorporated the non-Xanadu sounding parts of Spiders into one of his own songs. Analogman
He has a book coming out about his Bass collecting I think.
calvino
I think Rush is on that Dan Rather interview show this week, too.

calvino
Yeah - just Geddy. Sorry about that.
Analogman
It would have been cool if Alex was there also. Neil I think has totally disengaged from all things media.
jff
Nothing against Alex, but I like that it's just Geddy. It'll allow Dan Rather to dig deeper than just Rush topics, and based on the clips I've seen, he does.
jff
He has a book coming out about his Bass collecting I think. I heard something about that. I wouldn't be surprised if the Loft has some cool basses that Geddy wants to include in his book. But I'll bet the real reason he was in Chicago was for a baseball game, and the trip to the Loft was a way to write the whole trip off as a business expense.
mountain bed
I watched a 4 minute snippet of the Rather/Ged interview. It was one of the more heartwarming things I've seen in the last year. The story of his parent's meeting.
Analogman
The whole thing is up on YT - until it gets taken down, anyhow.
