Show me some facts that 47% of Americans are 1) Dependent upon the government 2) Believe they are Victims 3) Who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them 4) believe that they are entitled to health care, 5) to food 6) to housing and 7) the government should give it to them.

Now I hear the State Department is in talks with Egypt about handing over the Blind Shiek? And who was the bomber we handed over due to his "illness" that would cause him to die soon (he's still alive!).

This president is weak! He looks weak, he acts weak and he speaks weak. We need someone with balls right now.

And before someone jumps on the "he got Bin Laden" bandwagon.... I've heard it said multiple times that the intel that lead to his whereabouts came from the torturing that Obama so quickly put an end to.

Actually it is probably far more. Do your kids get a subsidized lunch? Childcare, etc. Pell grants, family members in the military, etc. Government contracts and subsidies? Most every family gets some sort of government aid.

You really need to provide some context for all of this. Or at least site some references, cause mostly I have no idea what you are on about.

I have listened to Rush lately saying that the violence in the Middle East is a result of PBO's weak foreign policy. I am not sure what Romney would have done to stem the violence, or stop it in the first place. Also if you go by the logic that violence is a result of PBO's weak foreign policy, wouldn't you have to then claim weakness on GWB, Clinton, GHWB, and Regan. They all had protests against the US in the Middle East, as well as bombings (1983 - Beruit; 1998 - Tazina; and seven embassies where attacked while GWB was prez http://mediamatters.org/research/2012/09/14/krauthammer-whitewashes-bushs-history-to-bash-o/189890 ) It really is a poor argument.

 

We cannot run around acting like a Cowboy, shooting anyone who looks at us funny. The Bush Doctrine got us into a huge mess in Afghanistan and Iraq. I am not sure what Romney would do differently than Bush.

 

Listen I am all for a spirited debate on foreign policy, I think it is an important thing to discuss. I think it is getting looked over. I just don't see Romney having the knowledge and wherewithal to manage foreign policy effectively. What I am doing is looking at history and what Romney has done recently. He had several noted missteps in his European tour and with the bombings recently he choose to score political points rather than wait and respond when all the facts where known.

 

Also if you are gonna go on a rant, please take the time to at least back up what you are saying with a little reference. You could have brought up some interesting points, but I spent most of my time trying to figure out what you are trying to say.

WASHINGTON — Elderly Americans and low-wage workers make up the bulk of those who don't pay income taxes, a group that Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney said are "dependent on government" and see themselves as "victims."

 

For 2011, 46 percent of households didn't pay federal income taxes. About half of those didn't pay because of standard deductions and personal exemptions designed to exclude subsistence levels of income from taxation.

 

The rest received tax breaks, including the earned income tax credit, the child tax credit and tax benefits for older Americans such as the exclusion of Social Security benefits from income. This group still paid state and local taxes and payroll taxes.

 

"Half of them are people that are just plain old poor," said Roberton Williams, a senior fellow at the Tax Policy Center, a nonpartisan group in Washington. "And the other half are people that aren't very far out of that poor category, but get some tax breaks."

Finland's GDP has been on a steady, and sometimes sky rocket climb in the last several decades. In fact their only serious fall was during the economic crisis and they've almost risen back to their 2008 high before the dip.

 

Denmark is similar.

I really don't know why either of these guys would want to be President the next four years.

 

We are headed for a total economic meltdown and neither one of these guys appear to have enough on the ball to even have a hope of addressing the economic problem, much less the problems with the Muslim world, the Chinese and the North Koreans.

 

At least we won't have to hear 'it's not my fault' anymore when Obama gets re-elected...maybe. Eventually he'll get to own this mess as at least being partly his doing.
