Apologies if this has been covered in other posts, but does anyone know what time Wilco has been taking the stage? And the ballpark start times of the other sets? We're going to the Hoboken show, and want to catch all the bands. But if that's not possible, we don't want to miss a second of Wilco. Thanks!

Jeff and Jim just joined Dylan for The Weight!

Bob sang verse 1, Jim verse 2, Jeff verse 3, Bob verse 4 and then all three did verse 5. To hear Dylan sing the Crazy Chester line was fun.

You are shitting us. No you're not - too many details in that post to be shitting us.

That is great!!!!

Typical Dylan, in some ways -- or maybe I'm unfairly judging -- to save a collaboration that a lot of people would love to see for a mid-week show in the most generic of sheds that didn't even open up its lawn section because too few people showed up (around 4,000, I heard, though I bet it was considerably less by the time Dylan went on).

Anyway, unfortunately I missed Ryan Bingham's set tonight but here were the other sets:

My Morning Jacket

Golden

Circuital

It Beats 4 U

Lowdown

Outta My System

Slow Slow Tune

Wonderful (The Way I Feel)

Dondante

Off The Record

I'm Amazed

Gideon

Bob Dylan

Things Have Changed

Love Sick

High Water (For Charley Patton)

Soon After Midnight

Early Roman Kings

Tangled Up In Blue

Duquesne Whistle

She Belongs To Me

Beyond Here Lies Nothin'

A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall

Blind Willie McTell

Simple Twist Of Fate

Summer Days

The Weight [The Band] (w/Jeff Tweedy and Jim James on acoustic guitar and vocals)

All Along The Watchtower

Blowin' in the Wind

Man oh man, let's hear it for my crappy hometown! I was seriously embarassed at the light turnout, and I figured the bands could either say "oh, shitty venue, place is half empty, let's phone it in tonight" or "fuck the crappy town and venue, let's shoot for the rafters" and that's what they did tonight. I am still ecstatic!! I was right on the rail, directly in front of Jeff, all night, and I couldn't believe I lucky I was to have that fantastic vantage point to see the joy on his face during "The Weight."

Before your question gets completely lost, it kind of depends on the venue and how tight its curfew is. Tonight (and last), it seemed like the show had to be over by 11 so everyone's sets got moved up a bit.

So that meant that Ryan Bingham played from about 5:15-5:45, MMJ from 6-7:15, Wilco from 7:40-8:55 and Dylan from 9:20-11.

If the curfew isn't as tight, then I would say the show would start as scheduled at 5:30 and you can go from there. The changeovers between sets for this tour have been pretty quick, fwiw.

Hope that helps...

Worth the 3 hour ride! I was really impressed with Bingham. He really laid it down! Still not into MMJ now that I've seen them live, although I like 'Golden' and was pleased they opened with it. Jeff was just damn giddy during 'The Weight' and that was before he got to shake Dylan's hand in front of witnesses. Just having Dylan say his name on stage was probably too much for Jeff to handle with any kind of dignity. Haha!

I still can't believe they did "The Weight".  I know that this was the kind of thing everyone was hoping for when this tour was announced, and the fact they waited this long and did it at Virginia Beach of all places is truly remarkable.  This immediately probably becomes the #1 "I WAS THERE!!!" moment in my personal concert history, as every show I have been to never had any surprises like this.  It's a shame that it is such a "holy shit!" moment when all these guys have been in the same venue every night, but for once I can say I saw something that the vast majority of others haven't.  Of course they will now probably play it at all the remaining shows, but we got it first!

That's pretty cool, but I wouldn't expect them to do it at every show. There have been many unique events on this tour (Dark Star, Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, Waterloo Sunset, etc.), and there have also been plenty of nights where Dylan didn't bring anyone on stage. He hasn't established a pattern and stuck with it.

Does anyone else think it's kind of funny that on the AmericanaramA tour, many of the covers have been of artists who were not strictly American? Cinnamon Girl (Neil Young, Canada), Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald (Gordon Lightfoot, also Canada), The Band (also partly from Canada). If anything, that's the pattern. They should throw in some Joni Mitchell tunes, too. :lol

America isn't just the United States

Americana refers to artifacts, or a collection of artifacts, related to the history, geography, folklore, and cultural heritage of the United States. [from Wikipedia]

Are we including Latin and South America here?

By the way, Rush would be a great band for Wilco to cover. Imagine them rocking on Tom Sawyer? :lol
