Madcap
lol I would love some new Pavement and Walkmen music in 2020 but I HIGHLY doubt either of those happen.
Chez
what's your over/under on guided by voices releases for 2020?Hahaha. I was going to post the same thing. I'll say three unless Bob decides to take a day off. I'm most looking forward to the new Drive-By Truckers album.
remphish1
Yeah do you have any dirt on the Walkman?? By far I think they were my favorite band to emerge after 2000. Would be super psyched if they did anything!!! Also, always up for more parquet courts!
RainDogToo
Tom Waits - Battle Hymns
jff
Tough question. Just about everyone I keep up with put out one or more record this year. So... Kinks? Nels Cline Singers?

A Hamilton Leithauser record and/or some more solo releases from other members would suffice.what's your over/under on guided by voices releases for 2020?2.

DiamondClaw
Courtney Barnett & Kurt VileYou think they'll do another one together or do you mean two separate solo albums? (I'm up for either!) Rolling Blackouts CF I was thinking about them lately. They seem due, right? I hope they have something brewing.
mountain bed
The one thing I'd REALLY like to see is the (as yet uncompleted) final Soundgarden studio album They were working on one at the time of Chris' passing, they have enough material for a record. Kim, Ben and Matt all want to do this. The thing that's missing for completion are the files for Chris' vocals - I believe they are still held by his estate (Vicky). Kim did an interview with Eddie Trunk earlier this week and he's pretty positive this will all be worked out and that an album will happen. So I hope it's sooner than later. TCP
Sloan, eh? I might be a bit of a hoser sometimes. You think they'll do another one together or do you mean two separate solo albums? (I'm up for either!)They both spent 2019 touring for their 2018 records, so I feel like we won't get solo albums from them til 2021, but maybe if we're lucky we'll get another collab album. Kurt made a joke recently on Janet Weiss' Instagram about his "side project" so maybe he was hinting at activity. Or maybe I'm grasping at straws.

Boss_Tweedy
I'm not aware of anything on the horizon, but a new Decemberists record is always welcome.
