Do you have trouble maintaining an election?

I wouldn't count on it yet... he's changed his mind before! -
That is Christina Aguilera, right?

What have you changed your mind about?

I know what you mean. I think it's the beer. Or the tomatoes. -
Happy Birthday!

Who keeps all that nasty, bloody stuff anyway?

And conservatives opt to give a free pass to the celebrities who back a Republican. Huckabee would be nowhere without Chuck Norris, and Sly Stallone just backed McCain. Hollywood is out of step with conservative values, but since action heroes gun people down, I guess they are. And what makes Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly, et al, more qualified to speak up than, say, George Clooney? (Clooney by the way is smart enough to know that his prescence on the trail could lead to just this backlash and has opted to stay home.) Yes, the William Bennett's and JC Watts' of the world served in -

Well... poop. -
No, no, no. That wouldn't pollute the bootleg pool nearly quickly enough! I'm going for maximum saturation.

Are you sure? CA lets undeclared voters vote in the Dem primary (due to GOP party rules not letting them). We just have to ask for the Dem ballot at the poll. I looked up your election laws and it looks like you should be able to- Sec. 9-431. Eligibility to vote at primary. (a) No person shall be permitted to vote at a primary of a party unless (1) he is on the last-completed enrollment list of such party in the municipality or voting district, as the case may be, or (2) if authorized by the state rules of such party filed pursuant to section 9-374, he is an unaffiliated elector in the mun -
Well, despite your apparent lack of etiquette in offering links to good music, I actually downloaded the first 2 sections put when I look for #3 I get a notice that I can't connect to rbally anymore. Is it just me or is your original link not working? I'd really like to hurry up and download it so I can burn it to CDs and mail it to every house in the greater metropolitan area.

No! YOU keep it civil!* *Sorry. Couldn't help it.

...and why is W Va already done? Do they open the polls at midnight and close at 9am? -
Having watched the suckiness that is Juan Pierre on a regular basis for a couple of years now, THAT is funny!

If he does get the job I hope he follows through and does get him. Just a little head's up for the senior Senator from Arizona; Osama bin Laden - he's NOT in Iraq! If we'd have sent all the troops that were in Iraq to Afghanistan to begin with, the problem would have been taken care of. Well, as much as we can. It's not going to go away no matter what we do. We aren't fighting a traditional enemy.

Don't know about your team, but it's 10 days and counting for Dodgers p's & c's!

Bjorn - looks like most will stay open until 9pm, so that might work. If there is one near your office that isn't where you're supposed to vote can you vote on a provisional ballot there instead? Edit: Just to be clear, the kissy smiley was for Donna. No offense.

Hillary can't go into a debate with him and talk about the war. He'll eat her up. 1) She voted for it. How can she complain. 2) She'll try the same excuse about thinking her vote gave Bush limited authority, etc. Barack didn't really go after her the other night at the debate/love-fest, but McCain will be able to counter with 'if you can't figure out the resolution, you aren't fit to be commander in chief.' And he'd be right. McCain will go after Barack on the timeline, with his 'we can't tell the enemy how long they need to lay in the weeds and wait' line. That's pretty strong, but BO* made

For you undecided Dems, here's some perspective from one of our esteemed conservative members. (And I do mean that UW. Really!) That seems like a pretty good barometer of what's going on on the other side of the aisle. Bjorn- What's up with your polling place? Noon? That doesn't seem right.

Actually, the online article isn't as long as the entire article which does mention that once you put the string on the guitar tightens it automatically for you. So, it does - sort of.

From the Obama site - I think it's supposed to be from factcheck.org, but lacks a direct link. As long as the 80 experts who've signed off on it really did say this, then I'm good with it. The enforcement of mandates seems to be the sticky part of Hillary's plan for me, not to mention that there really needs to be some sort of personal responsibility on the part of the people to go get health care. Honestly, I'm fine with either plan, so I'm not all that adamant about this part of their policies, but I can see why some would prefer Hillary's plan. The experts seem to disagree as well. I'm no

True, but just think of all the "spin" that the talking heads* will be putting on her "victory" if it comes out that way. It would be a totally hollow victory with little gain in delegates. That's all very speculative and premature, but... well, I just can't help it. I guess that's why I'm going to be making some phone calls tonight to get people out there voting. If anyone's interested (and judging from the results on our VC primary, you are) go to this site and find out how to make some call yourself and pitch in, even just a little bit. You don't need to actually go anywhere to make call

When I saw that I was thinking, "STFU? I haven't heard of that site. Maybe I should check it out and... oh... never mind."

It seems like it's targeted for the midlife crisis guy who always wanted to play guitar and now that he's 50 and has some disposable income he can get this and not have to worry about wasting time with something as frivilous as tuning.

I don't know if he has to actually win CA to have a 'victory.' If he can keep it really close, say, within 5%, that would be huge. Not to mention with the rather wacky math that goes into awarding delegates, he could come away from here with nearly as many as Hillary. She won New Hampshire, but they each got 9 delegates. As long as the gap keeps closing and it draws out longer, he's got a great shot.
