  1. I was really hoping you were kidding, but you weren't.
  2. Man, I wish I'd been there. Was meaning to get to that show. You from A2, bethwid?
  3. I would guess that the answer to this question would be "Because he likes his Gibsons."
  4. Hopefully, all this time in the slammer will mean that there aren't any new pictures taken of her for 45 days or whatever. Fade into obscurity, you fucking talentless twat.
  5. Can't say I'm a Lili Taylor fan, but I Shot Andy Warhol was pretty good.
  6. Salon.com's King Kaufman today on Sheffield's comments: King Kaufman's Sports Daily Gary Sheffield is the latest to get shouted down for racial comments. Thing is, he seems to have had a point. Jun. 08, 2007 | So now that we've ridiculed and vilified and slapped down Gary Sheffield for his supposedly racially insensitive comments in GQ magazine, is it safe yet to wonder if he had a point? GQ asked the Detroit Tigers outfielder about the dwindling number of African-Americans in the major leagues, and he said the reason Latins have replaced American blacks as baseball's chief minority is b
  7. I'm guessing you voted for Huey Lewis' hog.
  8. ...and I would list Falling Water because I visited it a few years ago (I'm a bit of a Frank Lloyd Wright freak). My parents visited there last year and brought back some fascinating pictures. I hadn't heard of it before then, but now it blows my mind.
  9. So ... are "short" and "cut" appropriate adjectives?
  10. Note to any of you who were thinking about it: that's a Photoshop job I don't want to see.
  11. Speaking of Australian bands, I've long been a fan of Ice Cream Hands.
  12. Neuschwanstein is impressive and all, but it wouldn't make my list. I mean, it's just another big-ass house built in the late 1800s. Had it been built a few hundred years earlier, maybe I'd think differently. If I could vote for stuff that's not listed, I'd probably substitute Falling Water in place of Neuschwanstein (if we must have a representative from the last 200 years), and I'd be sure to have both the Leshan giant Buddha and the terra cotta army on my list.
  13. I don't recall. All I know is that I paid the cheapest shipping option for SBS and got it on the release date -- which apparently made me one of the lucky few. I just think this is crap, honestly. I've pre-ordered albums dozens of times from other places, and it seems like they always get them to me by the release day -- often a day or two early. Music Today has an exclusive(?) EP to offer, so they don't even pretend that you're going to get the album on the release date unless you cough up more than the price of the CD for shipping. In the end, I'm probably going to hold my nose and order
