  1. "Freebird." Enough already. Oh wait, that's what I want the crowd to stop yelling. At any show, anywhere, ever. Agreed.

  3. If it's drainage you seek, I found this actually works (for me, anyway). Oddly, it comes from Men's Health magazine (which I generally think of as a competitor to Maxim).
  4. Tell him not to bother -- ain't gonna happen. Scary thing is, that beer probably tastes no worse now than it did when it was "fresh."

  6. "Early Mona Lisa copy to go on display in London" I read that as "compy," and thought, "well, it was Leonardo Da Vinci, after all."
  7. omc there's water falling down from way up there! Cool picture.
  8. He's a moron. Straight men are at least as "preoccupied with sex" as gay men -- probably more so.
  9. Maybe rename the files to be something the camera recognizes? Are the files the same format that the camera produces? For example, my camera names files like "IMG_0001.JPG." And it only produces RAW or JPG images, so if I try to put a file in a different image format on there, it won't recognize it.
  10. I'm about to be stationary for eight hours or so. Or did you mean stationery?
  11. I never sent my info when you requested it, so I don't regard myself as having gotten in on the bet. But that doesn't mean I can't gloat. In all seriousness, though, I've always kind of liked the Chiefs, so I hope they fare better from now on.
  12. Nope. They mentioned it on Salon.com too. Probably a simple mistake, but it's O'Reilly, so all bets are off.
  13. In college, my across-the-hall neighbor used to play Andy Gibb's "I Just Want To Be Your Everything" on repeat for hours at a time, pretty loudly. It's what he studied to, apparently. "Studied"
  14. The Yankees will beat the Tigers but fall to the winner of the A's-Twins series. You heard it here first.
  15. I heard on the radio this morning that they were going to do an "encore" showing of the first episode tonight. Not sure if that's nationally or locally, but it's worth a check (I got the impression it was national).
  16. I'm guessing the Court opted not to get involved because they didn't want to hear all that heavy breathing from Clarence Thomas. Again.
  17. Huh. Guess what I was having for dinner right around the time of your posts? Preceded it with some satay. Hard to beat that for dinner.
  18. I was part of that other discussion ... I really love this new one, much more than the last couple. I felt the production had gotten out of hand, to the point where it had driven the best elements of the Pernice Brothers -- Joe Pernice's vocals and songwriting -- into the background. Maybe someone agrees with me, because this record returns those elements to the foreground where they belong. Plus, it's a great set of Pernice tunes. I haven't been able to pick out favorites yet -- but there don't seem to be any duds. Actually, I haven't listened to the bonus disc yet, but now I'll have to
  19. I hate ... Hate ... HATE that song.
