That was going to be my next question. Kinda hoping they sign Ken Lucas too.

This thread is mere onanism.

ESPN said it was this: Broncs: Cutler and 2009 5th Round Bears: 2009 & 2010 1st round, 2009 3rd round, and Orton The price is a little steep, but I still think this might be a good move for the Bears. It's definitely a good move for the Broncos, if you accept that Cutler wasn't going to play for them anymore.

Just bought tickets. Anyone else going? Anyone see the show they played recently in Boston? Was it good? I've been wanting to see these guys for years, but they've been maddeningly idle for a decade or so. From what I can tell, it's the whole lineup except with someone filling in for Stephen Jo Bladd, the drummer. Peter Wolf, Magic Dick, Seth Justman, Danny Klein, J. Geils himself -- should all be there. Can't wait! They're playing another show at the House of Blues in Boston on 4/28 -- tickets go on sale this Saturday.

Hasn't this subject already been covered?

You were beaten to the punch.

Though I hate the Yankees, this makes me wish I'd gotten to the Stadium just once to hear this guy before he retired. What a great job to have for so long. No wonder he stuck with it well past retirement age.

I was disappointed that they own up to it as soon as you try to add the thing to your cart. They should let it play out a little longer.

from Huffington Post: Forbes To Sell Brother by Alan Farnham | Posted April 1, 2009 | 12:15 PM (EST) In a further sign of worsening conditions in the magazine industry, Forbes LLC announced it would be selling one of the company's namesake brothers. The announcement, made late Tuesday by Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Steve Forbes, came amidst a new wave of layoffs at the magazine and caught few observers by surprise. The company in recent years has sold off assets ranging from its south seas island, a helicopter from the company yacht, Faberge eggs, a Colorado cattle ranch, toy soldiers

If you really wanted to get people going, it should have been Nels, not Pat. But well played nonetheless. -
I've got that one. The sound's pretty good. I read somewhere that it was mono, but the CD I have is definitely stereo.

Our Websense didn't object to it. Weird. Posted on Tue, Mar. 31, 2009 Calipari needs a thorough vetting Mark Story | Herald-Leader sports columnist An open letter to University of Kentucky President Lee Todd: Re: What appears to be the impending hiring by UK of John Calipari as its men's basketball coach. The present athletics administration at the University of Kentucky has never seemed especially adept at conducting thorough background checks on major coaching hires. In 2002, Kentucky found itself on NCAA probation in football. Yet UK went out and hired a new football coach (

I never did manage to buy my own copies of the Sundazed releases, but I have CD-Rs of all of them except Grape Jam. Hopefully they'll resolve the legal issues and get the whole catalog out again sometime soon.

Nobody's mentioned the sitcom "Little Mosque On The Prairie." I don't watch it, but it's about a fictional Muslim community in Canada. -
I guess it's left to me to voice some dissent. Not feeling that one.

If you really want to piss him off, mention Mike Joyce.

You've been dying to use "Stuka" in a sentence, haven't you.
