No, not at all.... I just commend the confidence and balls you have and you were rewarded greatly. Especially with no Chicago shows listed YET, I'd imagine quite a few peeps coming up from the Windy City for these, even on a weekday(s). I didn't know if I wanted to do both, but since I already have tickets in tow.... vacation days here I come. Nothing says vacation like taking a Miller brewery tour during the day, Wilco shows at the Pabst at night.

Pulled 2 in Row D for Tuesday 2 in Row R for Wednesday. I wasn't about to get greedy with throwing anything back, I reckon these tickets will go fast. I like the new will call only option too, may eliminate some scalpers, but it kinda of restricts in trying to get better seats in the other pre-sale or public sale.

Nice, I was wondering if they were selling anything down there.

some DVD info, but mostly about Blu-Ray

Interesting... so this guy is basically stating Blu-ray is a failure just because its extremely impressive gains aren't enough to make up for DVDs losses??? Makes sense. Maybe theMaker is just bitter he didnt find a PS3 under the tree. -
grabbed 2 tickets for 7:00, though being the mindless zombie that I am, how will I know if I actually "get it" or enjoy???
-
Hmmm, that's kinda odd... maybe just a random winners received one, or perhaps limited to the first (insert number here) pre-orders?

Just picked up 2 without any problems.... Also interested in the autographed poster from the LP. Can anyone else confirm or deny that copies that were not proder directly from the label will have this?

I still wonder how I got through all 5 days alive... and I didnt even wait outside to freeze my arse off like some of you crazies! Still haven't seen the full band live since that run.... Lollapalooza wasn't gonna be the proper re-introduction after that run, it's gonna be a culture shock when I finally do, probably in Milwuakee.

I just emailed Nonesuch to see if this coming out to Blu Ray... any info, plans...anything. I also asked about the audio specs. Blu Ray dead format? -
last night was simply AMAZING. Truly a night of love indeed, my gf and I felt special and fortunate to be in attendance for this show. Great interactive crowd too. Decided not to wait no the cold for a request, and headed over to Trader Todd's for a few pops instead. Congrats to the newly engaged couple.... congrats and thank you to the Tweedy's for again putting together such an incredible event.

Ooooo that would look real sweet in a Blu case I will make one and forward to Nonesuch I'm not sure why my old Superdawg avatar keeps popping up now though. Conspiracy! -
Grimey's announced that Wilco would be re-releasing "A.M.", "Being There" and "Summerteeth" on 180g vinyl for a Record Store Day release. However, this is the only site yet to report such news.

No, wish I could take that credit.... I stole this from the amazon.ca pre-order page that has been delayed. (was supposed to be released 1/20) You can bet your bottom dollar that I will photoshop AoAF as soon as that gets come cover art though. -

All valid points FutureAge, and I'd have to agree with most of your claims. I don't think the downloading age will catch on as much as it did with music however, people are always gonna want to own something tangible that they can hold in their hand, especially with special edition movies and packaging. There is NO re-sale value with downloading a movie or album. -

It actually makes plenty of sense, you've never gone to see or bought a movie or cd you hadn't heard anything about except from hearing around the way "this is good" Tough to get into anything new or expand ones likes without taking risks.... Blu Ray owners love to blind buy. -

From your comments I'd question on whether you even seen that many Blu Ray's? Blu Ray is without a doubt much better quality in both picture and audio than a standard dvd. There has yet to be one Blu Ray reviewed that didn't score higher marks than its DVD counterpart. Every Blu Ray has to be remastered/transferred to 1080p and most have at the least 24bit TruHD audio surround. The movie you reference with Sleepy Hollow is considered to be one of the worst transfers out there, this is not an example of the norm. That movie has always looked like crap anyways. That being said, I agree with -

Fair enough. That dispute/confusion was more derived from the fact that plexifilm had plans to release IATTBYH on Blu without Wilco's consent, and then Wilco fighting back by saying the upgrade would hardly be worth it, so in other words, "save your money". That situation still has not got resolved to the best of my knowledge, though I still have the Blu Ray pre-ordered through Amazon Canada and is currently listed on backorder. (USA pulled the pre-order from their site) I think it would be a big mistake not to release this concert film on Blu as well, sure I'm gonna be greedy and biased si -

How does this release have anything to do with the prolonged re-release of IATTBYH on Blu Ray? -

One can only hope... though the band is not particularly fond of Blu Ray technology for whatever reason yet. I'm glad a dvd is finally coming, but waiting this long for a live release and thinking DVD's may very well be irrelevant in a few years would curb my enthusiasm for this release. Hopefully they release this on Blu as well.... -
Wow. That is OUTSTANDING news! I have to wonder if the Mermaid Ave's will be re-released as well? Kudos to the Kicking Television request as well, I love me some live vinyl! Okonokos is one of the best LP's I own.
