  2. Just under $130 for a used copy... I'd assume this is about standard and as low as it gets?? I highly doubt finding a new copy is feasible
  3. Do most of you have the 200 gram YHF / Ghost as opposed to the U.S. releases on regular vinyl?? I was wondering how big of a sound difference there is...... seems like Being There has a big difference, but then again, those were pressed at a much earlier time??
  4. as previous post have shown, quite difficult to narrow down 3 mmj songs everything just sounds so damn good, it could be a different 3 every week The Way That He Sings One Big Holiday (one of the best live rock anthems for any band) Dondante (love the dark sax solo at the end) Nashville to Kentucky Weeks Go By Like Days

  9. Made the trek up to Milwaukee for thier show on Tuesday night due to the Wilco conflict on Friday. DAMN. This bad is the goods live.... very tight jamming and structure, these guys can really bring it. I almost wish I could see them again Friday night.
  10. If anyone was looking to grab this dvd with the bonus acoustic "Chorale" dvd, I found a store in Louisville that has them.... I did not find one record store in the Chicagoland area that had the bonus dvd packaged in 13.99 including shipping http://www.earx-tacy.com/
  11. I couldnt imagine a "great" Wilco show without Kingpin
  12. thanks for posting..... damn though not one store listed in Chicago that has the bonus dvd. One would think that Reckless would carry it, and I might just have to check up on that after work. If not, I guess its on-line for me too
  13. everytime I look at this setlist, I just keep shaking my head. I keep figuring last night could not have been true, keep pinching myslef to wake up. Everything from the completely flawless set, incredible theatre (first time there) and now I'm spoiled, to the great crowd (and it really was despite the 1 guy, but even with him, at any other Tweedy show there would have been several of that same guy..... the cherry on the sundae was having the opportunity to meet Jeff after the show and thank him for his music and that set we just witnessed. Minus the Kawasaki benefit at the Vic where the
  14. If I had to guess, there won't be any AAA, BBB, CCC seats for these shows. Someone on here would have got something in one of those rows, the best weve heard is DDD and the Auditorium Theatre seating chart shows that as the 1st offical row.... so who knows
  15. Don't give up kids, my buddy just got Row S right now.
  16. ORCH Row E Thats gotta be one of the quickest pre-sale sellouts, especially for 2 nights....ever??
  17. I think there might just be a lot of cats in the Loop that night for some strange odd reason. Milwaukee mmj show is the way to go to leave room for wilco Damn skippy I cant wait for Thanksgiving this year.
  18. we ought to attempt a setlist, but on my end that would be a trainwreck waiting to happen... I could name the songs, the order on the other hand I know they opened with Shot in the Arm Handshake Impossible Germany and somewhat blurry from there on out.... encore 1 Late Greats Christ for Prez? War On War encore 2 Heavy Metal Drummer Rock Myself Kingpin
  19. Finally have a sec to post with catching up on work all morning after my early flight got in from Louisville. OUTSTANDING SHOW. Iroquois Amphitheatre is gorgeous, and as previous posts have highlighted, this venue is truly a gem to behold. Very intimate for an outdoor venue and incredible acoustics. Even before Jeff admitted on how truly honored they felt to play in such a beautiful place, it was simple to get a sense of how special it was to be present on this comfotable and cozy autumn evening. The set and show itself left nothing else to be desired. The fellas came out bursting wit
  20. Just saw this on the Road page, anybody know what this is about?? Contrary to published information re: the upcoming gig in Louisville, Wilco are in no way affiliated with nor sanctioning either Hillbippie.com nor the political middle. We welcome people of all persuasions, political or otherwise (even the sadly misguided) to purchase tickets and attend Wilco shows. Buying a handful of said tickets and giving them away on your website DOES NOT, however, make you a "presenting sponsor" of that show. Sorry.
  21. It looks like we are in store for a great little Fall tour.... Surprise no Spiders?? Maybe a break?
  22. Good to see the Stones came through for a good show at Churchill, I was planning on going, until they announced that Alice Copper was opening..... WTF
  23. I'm not seeing an pre-sale time anywhere either.....
  24. DECISIONS, DECISONS...... I was so psyched to see Wolfmother on Saturday, matter of fact, I already have 8 tickets for that show for myslef and friends.....I really dug them at Lolla, one of the main highlights to the weekend, Now I see all this for Thanksgivng wekend??? The tour gods have not shed a bight light upon us. How is a music junkie supposed to weigh out between all these good shows??? Btw, are these Auditorium shows set in stone??
