  1. Tickets for the Louisville show in this same week, which is NOT a benefit show are $43.00 for Field Tickets.
  2. Seat location: section SEC 2, row A thanks for reporting back with the code and here I was trying skyblue lol
  3. Looks like they are sponsoring, but only found this on their website.... the mystery continues..... -- Friday, September 21- WFPK presents Wilco in concert with special guests Dr. Dog at 8pm for the Sky Blue Sky Tour 2007(on sale 7/27 at 10am The Louisville Slugger Box Office 502-212-2287 or www.ticketmaster.com or 502-361-3100)
  4. No, live in Chicago, but will most definitely be at this show to visit firends and was looking to score some decent tix as well. I asked over at the MY Morning Jacket board to see if any of the local Louisville kids know any details, I know the world is coming to an end here, but it seems weird that NOBODY has any info about this pre-sale or show whatsoever.
  5. No, ticketmaster wont give out the password unfortunately. It's probably a presale through some radio station or record store out of Louisville (I've already tried ear X tacy, and they dont know anything about it) I wish there was somebody at wilcoworld we could email about this, I don't know how they could hold a pre-sale after ticketmaster holds one for 32 hours.
  6. Wow, I never knew that my simple support of a sportscenter segment would bring about so much hate on a wilco message board. People must loathe this shit to go this far out of their way to make sure they let me know that I'm not in the viachicago majority and I should not consider myself a "cool" sportscenter viewer. As if my Monday could get any worse, now my self-esteem as at an all time low because other Wilco fans dont like who's now. I should be so lucky that this light has been shed upon me.
  7. I hear ya there... usually the ticketmaster pre-sales are something quite simple. Just kinda weird that ticketmaster is having a pre-sale before Wilco. I want to say that I've never seen that happen...
  8. I guess some people like 24/7 coverage of Bonds not playing??
  9. I actally dig the "who's now" thing, summer is a downtime for sports in general so gotta fill the time somehow.... completely know what you mena though with the example.
  10. hmmmm.... there hasnt been a wilco pre-sale for this show yet, but ticketmaster's is announced for tomorrow??
  11. Still no word on a pre-sale for Louisiville?? Thought for sure we'd hear something by now, I think they go on-sale to the public this Friday?? Anybody hear anything?
  12. 5pm tonight for the announcement. I also heard in one of their teasers about this the word show(S). I like plural in this particular case.
  13. How many people y'all think will show up for this tonight?? You expect a mob scene?? XRT has done some promos for it, but unless you kinda knew about it, I doubt there's a lot of casual fans that know??
  14. Not the worst studio song, but when I hear it live, it just seems to KILL any energy the set has going for it. Whereas the recent convo with "Heavy Metal Drummer" certainly not the best lyrics int he world, nor the best studio song, but live in concert this song can really bring it for an excellend encore choice.... very energetic, summer-esque song, that people can associate with and dance to. Basically all the things you dont really expect at a wilco concert, which may be the reason why it always gets such a great reception at shows.
  15. Hell is Chrome and She's a Jar are literally the only 2 that I can think of that I don't particulary care for.....
  16. I was able to score a copy of the bonus EP here at Reckless Records the week SBS came out, but I have been unable to find "Is That the Thanks" and LNGCA. Can somebody help with either of these two tracks?? Its looks like LNGCA is not even available on iTunes anymore.... "Thanks" I have no idea where to get. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  17. Completely agree with all the Iroquois praise, that venue is immaculate. Unbeliveable show, with that certain kind of sense and vibe that one was witnessing a special concert that night. I'll truly never forget that show, and can only hope that I'll get to visit the venue again to see one of my favorite bands. Though it seemed like all the banter from Jeff and the "kinda big deal" that was made about this show, this could very well be once in a lifetime opportunity types of things. A baseball field is a great challenge for Wilco, and it will be neat to witness the fellas belting out tu
  18. Thats literally the first thing I thought of when I heard about this show yesterday.... what a twin bill that would be to bring back. Though I would think MMJ would headline in their own city no?
  19. I don't know if Slugger Field has actually ever had a concert "this big", but we should know more details soon.... Counting Crows and Live concert goes on-sale for Slugger Field this Saturday (no venue maps listed for concerts just yet)
  20. Surprised it took this long for someone to comment abot this show.... WILCO @ Slugger Field!!! This show will truly be incredible, though one has to think this might be a co-headliner?? Are they big enough to sell out a baseball stadium?? Albeit a smaller minor league park, but nonetheless, seeing this today absolutely made my day. AWESOME. Don't forget kids, Millenium Park show is supposed to fall aronud these dates as well.... and possibly the day after Louisville? 5.5 hours
  21. For you Chi kids out there, anybody try the XRT pre-sale this morning?? Tickets had to have been gone in less than 10 seconds, I was literally in there at 10 on the dot and everything was gone. I expected these to go quci, but damn.....
  22. Use the sports or motion settings withOUT flash.
  23. reading this fantasy set just made my day. Half of us would be literally dead if this show ever took place.
