  1. Possibly with live tracks from the webcast show in Canada or the SIRIUS show in Louisville?? yes, please.
  2. Wow, no "Walken"? I havent seen that missing from a set in a very long time... probably before the Auditorium shows last November.
  3. I have no problem admitting around here that I am/was a hardcord Dave fan, kinda where my multi-purpose username is affilated with...seen them way too many times to count DMB can still pack a punch in their live shows, but unfortuanately, that's really all they have to rely on these days. Not that its necessarily a bad thing, especially for them, but basically they have become the Dead/Buffet of this era. They don't have to put out incredible new material, because they can survive by playing live gems such as #41, Two Step and still put on a helluva 3 hour + show. Sad thing is, ever sinc
  4. How about a new Wilco book II, wlive concert photos, but this time, it comes with a DVD of a full live performance now, that could be better than 'Summerteeth'
  5. That is kinda a shame, was looking forward to hearing a soundboard pull form this show. Those who have downloaded both audience recordings, is there one you prefer?? I got the first one that was up, the schoeps source, but have not downloaded this one: http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=509758 should I? Love the schoeps source btw
  6. couldn't agree more, just kinda goes hand in hand with the leaves changing. I do however prefer Tweedy's solo version perhaps with a litt'l side of Glenn.
  7. the audience recording up right now at bt.etree is stellar. I'd be anxious to see what SIRIUS sounds like, but even if soundboard, it might have to sound pretty damn crisp to win over this audience pull.
  8. Little late for a full review, just getting back into Chicago late last night.... WOW What an unbelievable Wilco show... the fellas really pumped some amazing energy at Slugger Field on Friday night. I was front row dead center with one of my dear friends from Louisville her second show, also took her to the Iroqouis show last Oct, and I don't think I've came close to dancing and jamming out that hard at any other previous Wilco shows Ive been to, including the week before at Millennium Park. This show was every bit as good and these sets have been fire! Dancing so hard in fact, that I man
  9. There might have been a few video cameras on stage for various news outlets, but nowhere near enough equipment to convey that this show was video recorded in its entirety, nevermind professionally.
  10. Couldn't agree more. Was hoping they had something set up to film Millennium Park, but no such luck.
  11. Right on, I hear ya....and in that case, I probably agree with you. It seems like Spiders gets an unfair rep around these parts, not sure why, maybe becuase the fellas closed out so many shows with that tune durng the "Ghost" tour(s), but frequency set aside, its the best live rocker Wilco has in the trunk. The crowd particiaption outro needs some work, but for a song that one wouldnt even know how to play a guitar, it just gets better and more intense with each version. Nevertheless, these sets theyve been pushing out are insane. Certinaly not a bad time to be a Wilco fan.
  12. I'd definitely buy a Summerteeth for that, which finding on ebay is few and far between, but yeah out of print Wilco albums have seriously gone up in demand in literally no time at all. I remember when I first got my new record player last Christmas, I used to see copies of "All Over the Place" for $25.00-$50.00, nowadays I cant find one for less than $100. Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda
  13. I'd have to disagree... for it to be considered the best Wilco encore ever, Spiders is the one song that would HAVE to be included. UNBELIEVABLE SET. Can't wait for tomorrow.
  14. Setlist would be great. Great that theyre still bumping Casino Queen
  15. KT on vinyl would be excellent. I love MMJ Okonokos on vinyl. Re-releases of Summerteeth and A.M. would be incredible....but that's wishful thinking
  16. That would be fantastic of you, Sarchi!! I'll go ahead and waste no time sharing a pre-thank you. I'd love to rip a copy of SIRIUS soundboard pull from the show.
  17. very cool I'd be forver in debt to someone if they were kind enough to record this for a later torrent
  18. Flying into Louisville on Friday from Chicago for front row!!! I've been extatic about this show ever since it was announced, and even more excited since I saw the fellas last week at the crazy Millennium Park show. Went to the Iroqouis Park show last fall with my friend from Louisville for her first Wilco show, she obviously loved it, and with me being a HUGE baseball fan as well, the Slugger Field show this year was a no-brainer. Promises to be a great show, no doubt. Hoping they keep bumping these golden oldies Also heading to the Louisville football game vs Syracuse on Saturday.
  19. Wilco just perfect at Millenium Park concert By Ted Cox | Daily Herald Staff Wilco long ago proved it could rock, but on more recent albums Jeff Tweedy has tended toward precision over abandon and subtle shadings over pounding power chords. The band put both sides of its personality on display in a crowd-pleasing, sold-out homecoming concert at the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park Wednesday night. The early going featured songs from the band's new "Sky Blue Blue" and acknowledged masterpiece "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot," but it ended with an extended encore drawing on the hard-rocking
  20. Did they play anything in soundcheck that was NOT played at the show?
  21. They were handed out as you come in, but they were not at every entrance gate... I initally did not get one, but found somebody passing them out in my searches for a poster.
  22. Was anybody else able to score posters?? I was surprised on how quicky they sold-out, they were long gone well before Dr. Dog was even done. Luckily I was able to snag the last one off wall at one of the merch stands in the back after the ones on the side had already sold-out. Very cool poster design though, easily one of my favories I own out of my Wilco collection. Bought a Wilco Millennium Park t-shirt too, also pretty neat, dyed red shirt with a sketched image of the Chicago flag. On the bottom has venue, date and benefit ect.
  23. best Wilco show out of 10+ I've seen period. The afterglow from this show is gonna last a couple days, and rightfully so. Like Jeff said, "This is perfect." Indeed it was. Cars Cant Escape > Spiders was euphoric. Love that new space outro, even if all the fans couldnt get on the same page...
  24. regardless, I personally havent heard the majority of "SBS" live anyways, so tonight will be a welcome change compared to the heavy rotation of "Ghost" songs over the past few tours. 5 more minutes of work and straight to MP.
