  1. These guys are real nice people and a pretty good band to boot. They had their gear stolen in Wilmington, DE and I thought this might be a good place to post the list in case anyone sees it in the area shops in that area. Some of it sounds generic but a few would likely stand out to another musician if they saw them. Here's their post: "Here is the list of gear stolen for anyone who lives around the Wilmington, DE or Philadelphia areas. Gibson SG (faded cherry) Pearly Gates Seymour Duncan Neck pickup Custom Seymour Duncan Bridge Pickup Serial# 54686 Gibson 335 (Red) Neck is different colo
  2. Mercury Rev Portastatic Flaming Lips and Sleater-Kinney Bon Iver They might like to keep that one under their hat.
  3. What Light was played on the local radio this morning. That station loves them some Wilco.
  4. RBGC cut all of Nels stuff on the last lp so I'll be believing this when it's out there, Spearhawk rules but is a moody fucker. But I just read their Christmas lp is back in print. XoXoXo.
  5. It's decent but nothing special.
  6. Hahahahaha, that's a good one, no lie. (I am no way being sarcastic, etc, etc.) I'm fighting the same battle.
  7. Numero has some great releases. I'll put the Lone Star Lowlands on my Christmas list.
  8. just downloading now, but I do like the Walls cd that came out this year so I think it's worth a try.
  9. Local radio has played The Thanks I Get a lot this past summer. I very rarely listen to radio, 20 minutes a week on average, and I heard it 3 times.
  10. Watched this the other night. I'd never seen the Summerteeth era clip. I didn't even realize Leroy was playing on stage with them at that time.
  11. I like it but don't find myself listening to it much. For one thing the digital download version sounds terrible. The vinyl is pretty good but I just need to remember to fish it out.
  12. Put in the request for both nights. I hope others join in and make sure this happens.
  13. I was thinking Anthony Kiedis. At least I've learned that once upon a time the Goo Goo Dolls rocked. Never knew.
  14. The Soundcarriers- Celeste this is crazy good. probably my favorite of the year. http://www.myspace.com/thesoundcarriers
  15. http://www.alive-totalenergy.com/x/?page_id=236 Listening to Hacienda's first lp Loud Is The Night. Great summertime tunes. Saw 'em live last night and they rocked hard. Check out their Daytrotter session.
  16. First track is the first track on the Light on the South Side box that came out last year and I know one of the other songs from the Eccentric Soul release I have. I like all except the one female sung folk song but the rest of it is really good. I don't believe there's anything unreleased on it.
  17. Sorry, I missed the call but we may have been inside for Avi Buffalo at the time as it ran nearly right up to the Tweedy start.
  18. How well was the comedy attended? We wanted to see some but were just too busy with the music and catching Nels describe his stompboxes.
  19. I agree though, I loved Avi Buffalo's set, except his singing.
  20. I know, I looked for you Sunday but didn't see ya. I caught a glimpse of ya Saturday way across the crowd during the On Fillmore set I think. Definitely, wish we had stayed closer so we could've hung out after the sets instead of drive 40 minutes. My liver is better for it, though.
