The Smiths and Phish are no brainers, regardless of how long it takes to get them in. Both established singular sounds, both are influential. Anyone who thinks Phish were just noodling dead wannabes never actually listened to the music of either band. Lou Reed gets insane props for his VU contribution but apart from New York his solo material is sketchy. I have no problem with him getting in individually though as he is an icon of rock.

Without a doubt.

They were phenomenal at ACL. Great band, great guitars

Yes, the end of season 2 is horrible. But season 1 is genius
-
I would be surprised if Ford ever officially played with BC again. Saw him week before last and it was a fantastic show. But maybe 30-40 people in attendance.
-
Closing out ACL now with Jenny Lewis then Replacements then Pearl Jam.

I did not snag any Wilco tickets today.

Shake It Off is a fantastic, kick ass song, and it confounds me that Wilco fans don't find it so. Some of Glenn's best drumming, great swirly vibe pedal guitar. I love the version from the Shake It Off thing that came with Sky Blue Sky.

That person has to be a member of Via Chicago. Identify yourself. -

I enjoy listening to Where My Love after Sunloathe.

Just an FYI, Sweetwater still offers the guitar and has 24 month (sometimes if you call they'll even do longer terms) 0% financing. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/00DBTwdy

Great interview, but you forgot to mention that Wilco rose from the ashes of Uncle Tupelo. -

Sharon Osbourne has had some thoughts on U2's latest move. -
"Instead, he conveys a jumpy paranoia, as though he and his dad expect to hear the worst news possible." The tired jumpy paranoia drumming metaphor.

it's difficult to like people so much who make such mediocre music. makes me uncomfortable. -

Grabbed 2 tickets for his show in Austin in October. Nosebleeds, but it sold out fast.
