Same here. It doesn't hurt that she has great taste in music. He'll, I wouldn't have married someone with bad taste in music.

Now that is some funny ass shit!

Holy Shit! Freight Train!!?? That is incredible. At least to me. I'm only familiar with this song through Taj Mahal, who does it pretty often. I'm going to have to check Wilco Base to see how often he has played this. Thanks for that. Is there some type of hidden law that allows participants of different Living Room Shows to do B&P's? I have to hear this! EDIT: All I saw on WB was "Fragment of Elizabeth Cotten song" twice in 2006

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAqQQjioxGs&feature=related Is this from the demos or just a new take on it?
-
I think it looks pretty good. A nice mix of styles and types. Dr Dog would be cool to see on the show. Too many of the same types of groups or genres makes the programing uninteresting. I like it when there are some groups I wouldn't normally check out.

Wow! Never mind. Just did it with my PC. That was quick. The only thing my Mac has let me down with. It's my inadequacy.

I can't seem to get the downloading started with this. It is the first time I've tried with my Mac. It says it may be firewalled? I've done the bit torrent and flac conversion many times but I'm not a pro by any means. Any suggestions or pointers? This recording sounds amazing, I'd love to get the entire thing.

What an cool story. That's the kind of awesome person Jeff is! -
I pulled this tab from an archived site. Let me know if youd like the link. It's got quite a bit on it. Nothing Up My Sleeve Wilco-"Nothing Up My Sleeve" from the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot demos The intro/verse chords go something like this: e......3.......0.......0......3 B......3.......1......(1).....3 G......0.......0.......0.......0 D......0.......2.......1.......0 A......2.......3.......3.......2 E......3.......x.......x.......3 .......G.......C......Cm.....G What I'm calling a Cm chord may not actually be a Cm, this just sounds closest to what Jeff's playing in my opinion. (G)I won't ever

I can't stop singing this song! "You can run and tell that...run and tell that....run and tell that homeboy, home, home, homeboy!" Antoine Dodson is a star. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6y6Dk-_J3A&feature=popular

I couldn't find it! Damn sorry -
This is supposed to be silly fun. No one is wishing death on anyone. Especially since both Buddy and Waylon are dead anyway. I would rather have all the greats, who have passed, still alive and kicki'n. Hell, I'll cut Clapton some slack since he's still alive. Again, I'm just trying to have fun and hear some insight from you guys/gals, whose opinions I seem to always respect. (Whether I agree with them or not)
-
Nope, someone has to die. Sorry
-
I believe the story goes something like : Waylon Jennings gave up his seat to the Big Bopper one fateful night in which Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper died in a plane crash. My question is, if you could, would you give up all you know of Waylon Jennings to see what Buddy Holly might have done? Would you have Waylon get on the plane instead of Buddy? I would. I love Waylon's music and the Dukes of Hazard were one of my favorite shows growing up but I do believe that Buddy was more talented and might have surprised us all. I would love to see what Jeff Beck and John Lennon would s

I should have this in my "stack". I'll check later today. -
It's nice to see that Wilco(the song) was not the opener. Also, I believe any post that is written past 2am should be taken with a grain of salt. At least with my posts.

I do the same thing! And when they look at me weird I think, "You ungrateful bastard."
