  1. That's not even the best While My Guitar Gently Weeps solo...
  2. I'd put AGIB and W(TA) far ahead of SBS. I wouldn't even think twice about it (I know!).
  3. That should have said "did you get that on ebay or what?!". I've done some looking around on my own and they're hard to find. Strangely it seems like most people just randomly ran into them. I think a lot of instruments like that get tossed because people don't know what they have... the rest get sold for too much, or at least the easy to find ones do.
  4. I love My Morning Jacket as much as the next guy but... American Dad is like Family Guy without the humour. Hard to watch.
  5. Ugh Tilly and the Wall... ugh...
  6. My favorite record was Josephine. Other ones I enjoyed were Wilco (The Album), Molina and Johnson, and Dark Was The Night. I didn't get to listen to as much music as I should have, unfortunately
  7. Good to hear! Care to reveal your sources??

    No 2010 calendar

I'MMA MAKE MY OWN WILCO CALENDAR!!! It'll be one of those ones where each day has a page ... and a quote from a Wilco song!!! January 1: I dreamed about killing you again last night!
  9. Yes, they need to either stop doing that or just release the Archive CDs individually. Course if they did that, Neil Young could end up with close to 100 releases by the time all is said and done!
  10. I need a pickup for this.... Anyone have any experience/tips for going about this? I don't even know where to start.
  11. Ooops I see you posted that before, my bad. That's an absolutely beautiful guitar. Have you received it yet?
  12. Thanks. This was such a good era for Neil. These songs are delicious.
  13. Excuse my ignorance.. what type of Guild is this? It's beautiful.
  14. Yeah, I enjoy their music as well!!
  15. I believe they all played on "When We Was Fab". And I think Paul had a song shortly after John's death that they all played on.
  16. That was good. Let's hope he has the common sense to do a few more of these.
  17. 1) Too Far Apart 2) Misunderstood 3) Sunken Treasure 4) At My Window Sad and Lonely 5) Hesitating Beauty 6) Via Chicago 7) When You Wake Up Feeling Old 8) I Am Trying To Break Your Heart 9) Poor Places 10) Cars Can't Escape 11) Wishful Thinking 12) Theologians 13) You Are My Face 14) One Wing 15) Everlasting Everything Yeahh!!!!!!! Tried to get the first few songs that come to mind when I think of each album. Plus Cars Can't Escape, that song is just too good.... toooo good!!!

    I'm Engaged!

    Pretty awesome!!!
  19. It's only a matter of time till Jay follows Billy Corgans lead and reforms Uncle Tupelo without Jeff. It will happen, I swear it will.
  20. During the Blue Album, Rivers was in his 20s and singing about being in his 20s. On Raditude, Rivers is in his 40s and singing about being in his teens.
  21. This year mainly spent buying vinyl records. Songs: Ohia - The Lioness Molina & Johnson Magnolia Electric Co - What Comes After The Blues Magnolia Electric Co - Josephine Iron & Wine - The Creek Drank the Cradle Beck - Sea Change Beck - Modern Guilt Wilco (The Album) Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake As well as CDs of... Magnolia Electric Co - Trials and Errors Beatles For Sale Meet the Beatles Let It Be Past Masters That's all I can think of... I bought digital downloads of Dark Was The Night and Jim James' George Harrison EP.
  22. Can't respect a list that ignores the live Sloan record. And The Band too!!! Do the writers just hate Canada and our awesome health care? Jealous pricks.
  23. Ween is a novelty band. There I said it. While we're on the topic of novelty music, Flight of the Conchords have written some of the best songs in years... joke songs or not. Also: George Harrison's last album is the best album by a Beatle since All Things Must Pass.
  24. I've never heard this before. Should I?
  25. There's a couple songs I really like ...specifically Torn and Frayed & Sweet Virginia but the album as a whole is too long and far too monotonous. Every time I listen to it I just find myself thinking "is this over yet??". Ugh.... "Whoooo do you love???" I never want to hear that crap again. I do love when they play The Band's own material in that. Those live versions of Up on Cripple Creek, the Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, It Makes No Difference, etc are tremendous.
