  1. I'm going tonight! Myriad Harbor is my favorite on the new album, so as long as I hear that, I'm happy.

  3. I did see that when they left the stage at the end. doesn't seem like it was anything major. The chandelier was swinging
  4. It's just that simple, which John sings lead and plays guitar on.
  5. Perhaps the weather had something do with that. I was pretty happy to see the mulch being dumped in there, rather than have some shitty 90s Woodstock mud experience happen.
  6. First time I have seen Jeff play bass with Wilco. Have seen it with Loose Fur and Golden Smog.
  7. Just got home. I haven't felt the enthusiasm that I used to have in a while, but these last two nights reminded me why I used to love them with such blind mad devotion. More pics once I've gotten some sleep!
  8. just a brief post after the iowa show. Wow!! Really, what is with he negativity? KC is a really awesome city, I had agreat time surrounded by vcers (FINALLY met oceanman!!) and despite the shady entry system and the VIP pit it was a super fantastic show. I would not hesitate to go back!
  9. I was at this party where we beat the shit out of her... okay, the candy.
  10. While enough people are familiar with the Kinks and their hits, this is a sadly overlooked, under appreciated album. Dude Looks Like a Lady? Okay not really catchy. Or good.
  11. I think I will listen to this more than once! I quite like it!
  12. Downloading now. I'm a casual Radiohead fan (didn't like HTTT at all) so I'm not super exited, but fairly interested.
  13. They've been playing nearly 80 minutes lately, which I think is a pretty decent sized set...
  14. Wow, I took pictures when they played there 5 years ago!! Ancient History! I hope they still have the spooky chandeliers!
  15. Miss Alex White and the Red Orchestra.
  16. Make sure you have plenty of Spooky Friends on hand!!
  17. I was skeptical after Pitchfork, but I had a great time at this show. If you love them anyways, catch them on this tour!
  18. to answer the question: probably more than any one else here. Here is a picture of me with the first copies of YHF and Chelsea Walls sold in Chicago. With horns.
  19. I'm just curious as to the here and now. Feel free to add commentary, please.
  20. LeRoy Bach bought a copy of that after the instore last week! I have the Surround Sound mix of it. I want to meet the stoner at Rhino who deemed that album worthy of 5.1 and share a bong with him/her. Seriously. My pick is Songs: Ohia - The Magnolia Electric Company. I have the first pressing LP, with the inner sleeve customized by Molina, the CD with the demo disc, the poster of the photo from the gatefold. I tell people it is my favorite album EVER and they do not believe me. Listen to the first song, and then proceed to buy the album ASAP.
  21. what the heck are those, kate? I suffer wide foot girl syndrome too and need something besides: and
