  1. I know it may be a bit premature but I haven't seen a new album topic on here since SBS came out. Any thoughts?? Also, Is the band really going to be on SNL??
  2. I'm so envious of everyone that has gone to these Riv shows so far. The setlists are flippin' amazing. I really hope they are saving some juice for the next leg of the tour! What am I talking about? They've never disappointed me before. It's all good.
  3. They played HTFL? Dang. They haven't played it in a while (9/1/07). I hope they play it in New Haven.
  4. I've got two extras. They're orchestra, row M, seats 2 and 4 (isle). Email me: dmd1977@comcast.net.

  6. Does anyone know if they are performing tonight at the Grammys??
  7. I heard the Beatles are coming this year!
  8. I'm hoping for a third consecutive Pines show this summer myself. Shelburne was a great venue. Jeff commented on how many kids were there and seemed quite pleased. I am unfamiliar with the Tulsa venue but, as folks have already said, a reserved seating show doesn't really allow for any running around. If they can sit still and are into rock n roll than I say bring them along. Kids are never too young to be exposed to good music. Enjoy the show!
  9. "I myself have found, a real rival in myself. I am hoping for a re-arrival of my health." P.S. I've never seen a live version of PKB, one of my favs.....come on New Haven!
  10. Nope. He would be played by Jason Lee. Oh wait...
  11. Holy crap! James Joyce and Wilco together? This may be the only time in my life that my favorite band and favorite author are one.
  12. I lived in CT for the first 30 years of my life. Hartford is a ghost town compared to New Haven which has way more culture and Yale's tax base to boot. As for the Shubert, I've never seen a show there. I'm not surprised that it sold out quickly as it's a pretty small venue. I've never seen the band in my home state. They have only played there twice since I've been a fan, both in '03 and I couldn't make it to either one. It should be a great show. As for Toad's Place, surprisingly, Wilco has only played there once, back in 2000.
  13. I don't think they've yet released the presale password. I just called the Shubert Box office and they were closed because of the storm and will reopen at 9:30. I believe this is a reserved seating only venue and thus there will be no GA tickets sold. I'd like to get me some good ones too. Best bet is to call there in the morning (203.562.5666) or check back with the presale website on tickets.com. Good luck.
  14. I haven't heard yet about presale stuff but would also like to know as I will be returning to my home state of CT for this party! Can't wait. I'll be hitting up Philly first though of course. What part of New England are you from?
  15. OMG They are finally playing in my (former) home state! February 24th in New Haven. I am so freakin excited. Parisisstale and I will have to rock out.
  16. She tasted like Mountain Dew. Plus, Cars Can't Escape is one of my top 3 Wilco tunes.
  17. That's right, I was mos def there. What a great show. We met there rather randomly. Is your name Mike?? Sorry I have forgotten. Get in touch next time you come up this way; we'll grab a coffee. It was my 30th Birthday that day and I met Nels for the first time. He told me to follow my dreams and they would come true. It was very cool. Jeff was rather standoffish that night backstage. It was probably because I snuck back there an hour after the show. Now the Shelburne Museum is 7 miles from my house. Neato. I hope they come back to VT next year sometime. I also saw them at the Memorial Aud
  18. Roanoke is beautiful. I love the Mighty Blue Ridge. The Shenendoah Valley is one of my favorite places.
  19. Went to see DSO's 10th anniversary on Sunday. It was right in my hometown, how lovely. They are a Dead tribute band, the best in the world. What an awesome show. They played an original setlist that included a bunch of infrequently played songs. These included: "Unbroken Chain," "Dire Wolf," "Sittin' on top of the World," and "Alligator." "The Scarlet Begonias>Fire on the Mountain," "St. Stephen," and "Sugar Magnolia" were all solid. It was a great show with a lot of energy. Anyone into the Dead who hasn't seen this band should make it a priority.
  20. Hey all. I haven't posted in a while. I moved to Burlington last week and am curious if there are some diehard Wilcos in town. Feel free to send me a message. Dave
  21. Phil Lesh has never performed "Ripple" live with Jeff Tweedy.
