  1. Ummmm. OK. John sang a track on A.M. Then I think Jeff politely asked him not to do that again.
  2. That truly is a horrible story. KC is a pretty rough city I hear. Still not quite as bad as East St. Louis (30 minutes from JT's hometown of Belleville, IL).
  3. Werd. We went to see his major league debut (4/26 I think). He's gonna be a good one, especially with the Rocket taking him under his wing (as is expected). I'll keep saying it....the Yanks are truly awful! I think a fight for the wildcard is in their future....hopefully.
  4. I think that at some point in the next ten years Jeff will release a solo album, hopefully of all new songs, maybe a few solo classics.
  5. Dave Matthews Just kidding, broseph (cool name, reminds me of Anchorman). Lots of sarcasm amongst these peeps. Welcome. It sounds like you only need A.M. and Summerteeth to complete the studio albums. They are all different from each other. The live album from '05, Kicking Television, is a good measuring stick for how the current lineup sounds. My best advice: Go see them live as soon as you can. Where are you from?
  6. I gotta go with VC too but there really are many: "I printed my name on the back of a leaf and I watched it float away." AND "I know I'll make it back One of these days And turn on your TV To watch a man with a face like mine Being chased down a busy street" I dig the cracked door moon part too. Maybe "they don't know nothin'.....about my soul" too.
  7. Hahaha. Arroyo has been horrendous. I had to fire him from my yahoo team. The Yanks have Rivera, Proctor, Farnsworth, Myers and other "established" veterans and they are mostly all unreliable, except for bad ass Brian Bruney. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=7324 If anyone knows how to change the link from a web address to "here" please inform me.
  8. I thought it was "wreck myself." I've yet to hear the studio version. Please post a link, either to the track itself or to where you got it from....thanks justin. TTIG is a bit raw but a good one nonetheless. The backup vocals ("we can make it better...") in the studio version are very lame compared to when the crowd sings them live.
  9. Yeah, good point, we've all been there before. It's just the chorus and ruckus that bother me.
  10. I'm not a fan either. I can't stand when Jeff screams/shrieks during that track. The lyrics are lame too....."wreck myself...." I was disappointed when they started playing it at shows assuming it would be on the new album. I think they stopped playing it when it didn't make the final cut for SBS although they played it at both Auditorium shows in November. TTIG is a terrific song. I've said it before. It could definitely work on SBS and I agree that it could even replace a song or two (Shake it Off or Leave me Like you Found Me). If the rumors are true (I spoke to Pat about this at an Autum
  11. Regarding the mixing/producing process?
  12. Can someone please elaborate on this DIY. Is it Do-it-Yourself? What am i missing?
  13. Kamera? I'm Always in Love? Neato. That list does sound rather "yummy." My only beef is closing with I'm a Wheel. I have never been a big fan. Then again, "Once in Germany someone said 'nein.'" They played it at all 5 Germany shows. I'm wondering when they'll bust out Leave Me (Like you Found Me). Shake it Off is really in your top 3? I gotta go with Impossible Germany, You are my Face and Hate it Here (with SBS a close 4th). They also played Impossible Germany at all 7 Euro shows thus far, War on War too.
  14. He's on my fantasy team. Between him and Bartolo Colon, my team's gonna start the week with an ERA of about 12.
  15. OMG do the Yankees stink. It's unreal. Their offense goes away for days on end. It's pathetic! I think Howie could hit better than some of these bums.
  16. If paying close attention to Wilco details makes one a geek, I'm the geekiest guy in CT. Geeky girls are cute anyway.
  17. You lost exactly 2000 pounds of respect for them? Wow. We all have our opinions but this "rant" seems a little over the top. My guess is that the price was right not that their goal was to become more commercial. Most people who see that commercial would have no idea who the band is. Right?
  18. Solid chance we'll see all these this summer. They should revive "Rainbow Connection."
  19. New York and Philly sports fans are fanatical and can be very obnoxious for sure. I'm not a huge NFL fan but I hear Eagles fans are brutal. Red Sox fans, IMO, are the most annoyoing. Their team is kicking major ass right now though. As a die hard Yanks fan, I'm the first to say that they SUCK right now. It's a sad state of affairs. They're six flippin' games under .500 and 12 1/2 games back.
  20. Nels struggling? Now I've heard it all.
  21. Billy Pilgrim sure had a hell of a time there.
  22. Really? I thought it was just as good as YAMF. Jeff changed the chorus a little from "I should be satisfied" to "Should I be satisfied?" That was a little strange. But, the band did march on in formation, which was terrific.
  23. I'm the Man Who Loves You, HMD. They played Why Would You Wanna Live in Dresden, First time in 248 shows. Neat. BT stuff other than Misunderstood and Kingpin. Monday, Hotel AZ and Far, Far Away. At My Window Sad and Lonely, Hoodoo Voodoo Kamera? I hope The Thanks I Get makes it back into the rotation. How about which songs should be retired for a while.....ITMWLY, HMD, Handshake Drugs.
