  1. Today, I got out of the shower and turned off the alarm. The cats usually wake me up first.
  2. I think he says something like "Just play the fucking song!"
  3. Darin Gray? Hmm. That seems like it could be right. Chris Corsano and Tim Barnes opened for this one. They were pretty cool.
  4. Walken, I'm on a Mac too, and it's easy as pie. Download and install xACT: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/21952 Then, just drag your FLAC files onto the xACT icon. Hit Decode, and you're on your way.
  5. I don't mind it. The only songs that rub me the wrong way are Colleen and Bottle of Buckie.
  6. It was Jeff Tweedy, Jim Kotche, Glenn Kotche, and Bryan...something. I can't remember!
  7. It doesn't help that the song kind of stinks. (For the record, I think that the rest of the album is great.) Also, the whole Classic Rock thing bugs me too. Also, the reviewer is still clearly an idiot.
  8. Or you could just buy the second one and listen to he live show for the first release (and then get the first release after you hear how awesome the live show was). http://owlandbear.com/live-downloads
  9. You're definitely not the first person this has happened to. If I recall correctly, Wilcoworld had even posted "CD removal" instructions at one point.

  12. Just thought you should know: http://www.secretsites.de/joblog/?p=281
  13. And Joey Joe Joe, Jr. Shabadoo.
  14. Oh god yeah. I've "illegally" downloaded so many CDs that I already own, it's ridiculous. The CD medium is pretty much dead to me now. It's either iPod, computer library, or vinyl.
  15. For anyone interested- There is a documentary coming out on DVD called "Rank." It is about, of all things, bullriding. Tim Rutili of Califone and a couple of others (Wil Hendricks and Michael Krassner) did the soundtrack as The Unseen Hand. It's a really cool documentary and your should check it out if you get the chance. Here is a review on PopMatters: http://www.popmatters.com/pm/film/reviews/32639/rank-2006/
  16. Does that mean that your arsenal is comparatively smaller than other people's arsenals?
  17. I was thinking the same thing. This, coming from a state that just passed a law to make it more legal to shoot someone.
  18. I thought he was "okay" until I saw him live. Immediately afterward, I got some of his albums and was hooked.
