This is probably legit if it is coming from so many sources. The YHF re-issue was publicized less than this from what I remember.

Anyone have chords for this. I figured it out the other night but didn't write it down. I had something like this (no guitar with me now): C F Em F (maybe Dmin) C G Amin Chorus: F G C Bb Amin D Probably some mistakes here. Just wanted to get some discussion going.

The problem I had when I first ordered internet at my new abode: I work until 5 and because my cable company has a window that's from 5-8, I pick that window. It took me almost a month to get my internet hooked up because they would call my house around 3 everytime and say "We're in your area and can do it now if that's convenient for you." Seems nice, but what I learned is that they are really saying "I finished all my jobs today and unless I can come now it's not happening." They leave a call back number but that goes to a call center instead of their cell phone and the person who answers is

I like Andy Kaufman's version.

How about concerts you had tickets for but never saw?
mfwahl replied to John Smith's topic in Someone Else's Song
A couple Phish shows and a Bob Dylan show. Illness for one of the Phish shows. One of the Phish and the Dylan were when I was really young like 14. I would get tickets with friends and do some dumb ass shit and not be allowed to go. -
Top 3 most underwhelming bands/artists you've ever seen

I'm still jealous. Not a big fan of those guys or of Anton, but I would love to see that trainwreck in person. -
I read on a blog that MAD MUSIC also broke the news of the Whiskeytown reissues, so there may be some credibility to it. The UK Amazon says Apr 27.

They are still available. I would post a link but owl and bear screws up my work computer. Sometime this week I am going to make an updated zip or rar file of all the news songs that have surfaced (One Wing, Sunny Feeling, I'll Fight, My Country Has Disappeared, You And I, Everlasting Everything, Solitaire, Wilco The Song, Deeper Down) Wow that's a lot. Let me know ifI'm missing anything.

Live or Studio Album: Which do you like more?
mfwahl replied to Clint09eastwood's topic in Just A Fan
With this lineup, live mostly. They are different creatures and I need both, but the extra energy that comes with a live show makes me lean that way. -
Great thread, Speed. I love reading the responses.

That's the question. I think the performances and jams were great, if a bit restrained (probably for the best). But I haven''t been a fan of Trey's solo material. The new song they played was alright, but just not what I look for in new music. He did that Time Turns Elastic thing (I still haven't heard it) I want to hear some fucking compositions. The last "new" one I can think of is Guyute but they played that a few times in the early 90's. If they go the same route as Round Room and Undermind with their new material, I won't be excited.

Details? O.A.R. ( Rahzel warmed up, I watched half of their first set to be nice) Third Eye Blind (Jurassic 5 warmed up....) Lenny Kravtiz (warmed up for Tom Petty, Lenny even had Karl Denson back in the band for this tour but didn't save this yawnfest) -
Not sure, but maybe 1 is the bottom instead of 0.
-
Me too. Did you get to see the tour? Orgasmic and cathartic.

They are very responsive. Do it!

Was AM pressed on a red disc, or was it still in the sleeve?

Same thing here, but I didn't like their food and it was overpriced. Still sad to see them go. Vibes to all who have joined the ranks of the jobless. I'll probably be joining you soon. Have been worried for about 6 months.

Going to Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Milan
mfwahl replied to remphish1's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Good stuff. I'll add to that Dali's museum/gravesite is a short/cheap train ride away from Barcelona. Definitely worth it if you have the time. This city (Barcelona) is magic. Just explore. -
Why do you come to VC regularly? It's an addiction. And a great way to passively aggressively irk my fiancee. What do you get out of coming here? Great info about music I should be listening to; the latest Wilco news; an inflated, delusional sense of self-importance. How did you get into VC? Lurking for info and tabs. I first signed up to correct mistakes to tabs I saw. I regret the day I clicked on Tongue Tied Lightning Do you consider yourself a Wilco fan, even if you hate AM/SBS/BT/MA/MA2/whichever album blew chunks? I pretty much like all of the albums, but don't listen to t
