  2. I managed to keep my car on the road as the hood opened, smacked and shattered my windshield.
  3. Just finished: So This is Love Lollipop and Other Stories by Gilbert Reid it was pretty good. I liked almost all of the stories contained within, which is more than I can say for a lot of story collections. on deck: Family and Other Accidents by Shari Goldhagen
  4. Yes, everyone is okay and I am extremely thankful for that. On the way home from a welcome-home dinner for a friend, I was coming up to a stop light and when braking, my brakes locked(no ABS) and I just slid on the wet pavement into the back of a taxi. The driver spoke broken english, but he was okay aside from some minor whiplash. My car was filled with three people that I hold very close to my heart and I couldn't be happier that no one is injured, but I feel pretty awful about the whole thing.   17. Since AGIB is two years old, I guess that means I started listening to Wilco two years ago. The first song I ever heard by them was ALTWYS. I was instantly enamoured with everything Wilco. I downloaded and eventually bought everything I could get my hands on. I've seen the band twice(one such occassion meant a ten hour car ride there, no hotel and a ten hour car ride back the same day.... ) and Jeff solo once. Hummingbird and Theologians have become favorites, but ALTWYS, I think will always rank number one in my book. I really enjoy all of their music and can't wait for a new album/ne
