Anyone here remember the "Disco Destroyer" promotion at Comiskey ('79 ?) that turned into a fiasco/riot ? Good times...

Just one song? Damn that's too hard. I would say almost any 'power ballad' done by any # of those hair-metal bands of the late '80's. I truly loathe that shit.

There were times when I used to follow the Dead when we'd do maybe 10 shows over 2 weeks, and we'd listen to nothing but GD--all day, all night. It never got old or boring. Of course, when you're talking about a group with a long history ( and a vast catalogue) you can do that ( Dylan also comes to mind). Really though, there's very few artists/ bands that you can do that without getting pretty burnt on em.

I got my wish. No playoffs for teh Pacers. This was the longest year I can ever remember. Hell, even when they were winning 20 games a year back in the early '80's, it was still fun ( coming from a life-long Cubs fan, you know what I mean ). Maybe I've been spoiled by pseudo-success for the last 15 years, but this current group makes me wanna puke. It's been a long time, but Indiana is now gonna have to start all the way back at square one. See y'all in 5-6 years. I WILL enjoy the playoffs, though. It'll be nice to see some exciting ball for a change.

I'm with that. As soon as I heard about this, we talked to our oldest who is at BSU. Of all the things I would worry about with a college aged kid, this type of thing wouldn't have even crossed my mind. I can't imagine how the parents of those kids at VT must feel. My thoughts are with them.
