Love Jorma's work and attitude. I prefer Hot Tuna over the Airplane (by a very wide margin). He and Jack have been playing together since coffee house days in D.C. in their teens. Pretty amazing journey....

There was a big chunk of the Denver lab that is missing from the doc (they moved the lab out here when the heat was on out on the coast). I met a kid (young 30s? at a local GD bar a couple weeks back who's dad worked in the lab at the house. He had some interesting things to...share.

Well, I do have some dislikes. I hear you with some of his material with Legion of Mary, but overall I like his work with Garcia, as well as with others (the Doug Sahm/Sir Douglas stuff and Zero stuff, for example).

I don't mind most of that stuff. Some really good/out there jams with that '74 line up. Love the "Neighbor, Neighbor"s, "Harder they Come"'s, " "He Ain't Give You None"'s, etc. Try some of the shows as Great American String Band from earlier in summer/spring with Dave Nelson, Taj on bass, Sandy Rothman...
