It should sit in the sun for only 3-4 hours. It gets bitter if it's not consumed (from sitting in the fridge) within a few days-week. And yes, I'll be over in about an hour.

What- like both post the same response again or can you do the process of making the tea the same? If it's the process- yes, I see no reason why you couldn't.

Pretty much the same deal: 4 of the large Lipton bags, cold water (filtered makes a difference), in a big-assed glass jug (like those R.W. Knudsen Apple Cider ones), leave cap loose on the top, and 3-4 hrs. only in the sun.

I love this too, though I prefer it much better without the sugar. Just sun tea over ice is great.

Hey-O! Happy Birthday, BG. Have a fantastic year.

I loved this book and love Larry Brown's writing.

This is pretty dead on, when I think about it. As long as the price is high I'll take the better quality coffee, thanks. Starbuck's quality is very good, imo. I buy the beans to take home, too.

Starbuck's coffee is fantastic. I enjoy it. I don't care much that it's a chain, either. It's pricey, too. Fortunately, many of the other chains, as well as local shops, do a version of my favorite Starbuck's item- the frappucino. This is a good thing for the wallet. I drink one cup of drip coffee from the pot at school per day and an occassional cup of home-brew/french press coffee at home on weekends. Maybe hit Starbuck's or similar once/month. Starbuck's is still the best coffee, imo. If I drank coffee regularly I'd probably be happy with a cheaper imitation.

It's been awhile since I've read any Joyce, honestly. Finnegan's Wake was a very difficult read but I got through it and had the benefit of a very small English class to help analyze it with in college. A Portrait... was a clean read and probably the most memorable of his books (for me). Ulysses is like Finnegan's Wake with the stream of consciousness writing style but for whatever reason totally confuses me. There's too much going on in it for me to keep track.
-
Oops, I was thinking of Ulysses. That's the one that's been a bastard for me. I've read Finnegans Wake, A Portrait of the Artist...., and Dubliners. Haven't read The Dead, either.
-
The last two were both great reads, imo. Dubliners, as excellent of a piece of writing it is, has been trouble for me and I have yet to finish it after several attempts since 9th grade in 1981.

Virtually? Please. This is getting absurd.

It was all over some new Dylan song That Phil had the nerve to say sounded wrong Dylan stopped the car, words shook like a fist "Phil, you ain't a writer, you're a journalist" Death of a rebel, twist of fate If he ever thought better, he thought too late Poor Phil Ochs, he slipped through the cracks Judas went electric and he never looked back on....

I agree with this, but let's also not forget that Dylan was influenced by others before him: Woody(obviously) , Hank Williams, Odetta, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Mike Seeger, Jesse Fuller (that neck harmonica deal, too), etc. As well as poets like Rimbaud, Verlaine, and the Beats. A lot of his most notorious songs ("Blowin' in the Wind," A Hard Rain's...," "Like A Rolling Stone," "Don't Think Twice...," etc.) he based, at least in part, on traditional songs, too. This isn't to take away from the incredible music the man has made, but merely to point out that even the master(s) borrow/receive i

I may be wrong but I think the furthest he got with TB was as a number 2 starter. He did, however, throw the pitch that shattered Sammy Sosa's corked bat. A disturbing piece of trivia: "Gonzalez is the third ex-Rays pitcher to die in the last 19 months. Cory Lidle was killed in an October 2006 plane crash and Joe Kennedy died last November of natural causes."

Two cool links, thanks A-man. In particular, the Mouth of the Beast project is very cool. Have you listened to any of the recordings? Mmmn...master transfers. I'd really like to give it a spin once I figure out bt.

Way to be 36! Have a great day, Dude.

They were pretty good bats, though.

Ha, I actually amended my comment prior to your post realizing the error. Either way, Barry Bonds' talent ( enhanced through cheating or otherwise) does not currently validate his worth to any team in MLB, for whatever reason you want to give it. I think it's safe to say that intangibles and/or chemistry might mean more to a team that can actually afford his price tag right now than you give credit for.
