  1. Was wondering when you would see this post. Yeah, I love listening to that tape...what is it, after the first song you can hear Bobby tellin' the guy to move back a bit from the stage because he will get a better recording...or something like that. Also It has been stated that apparently in the midst of that incredible jam Jerry was so taken he actually fell to his knees as he was wailing that out. I'm pretty much a sucker for these kinds of releases, hell I would subscribe to them if they ever had that option.
  2. That book was pretty cool, lot of interesting tid-bits in there.
  3. Yeah thats the one with that shit-hot hard to handle right?
  4. Yeah those bastards, it's nothing but a money grab, next thing you know they'll be doing commercials for VW...fucking sell-outs Wait.....wrong thread
  5. I doubt it....If memory serves there was some bitterness when he left/got booted out and oh yes that jam is very sweet
  6. Looks like he got a good Fuck You in there at the end.........not Pinella-esque, but a pretty good rant anyways. He looks asleep some times (Francoma) at least the Sox are up right now 1-0 Papi hit one in the 1st
  7. Yeah, and a lefty to boot. A very huge bonus....he sorta came out of nowhere.....now if the Sox could get a win in Oakland....damn
  8. You could make a case for Okijima from the Sox, not including his last outing. If I heard correctly he was April rookie of the month and Pedroia was R O M for May
  9. Oh yeah, love the WRS especially the let it grow part. That jam before the last verse....there are some killer ones out there. I'm sure you are aware on their site they have a place called "Tapers Section" and they pretty much always have some killer tunes in there to download. They are MP3 but still sound pretty great. Lemieux always puts up killer 70's stuff there.
  10. Yeah a great great run of shows. I love "primal Dead" you know 1967-1974. Though I love the jazzy period 73-74 I friggin' love 71 for some reason. They didn't space out as much but I dig the way their sound was evolving back then. 71 is an underappreciated year and kind of hard to get anything decent from. I'm sure I'll pre-order this sometime next week. They need to bring Dick's Pick's back Yeah that and a chili dog and a pack of Camel Un-filtered
  11. What took 'em so long? From The Vault series #3 Port Chester 2-19-71. This is a killer show. I had a Sbd of it but....well you know it sorta walked off. Heres a link to the Dead store. I guess it comes out June 26. Says if you order in the month of June you get Dick's Dex, some kind of index to all 36 vols of the DP series. Was wondering if they would ever continue the vault series. right here
  12. Well...this is what happens when you get older ( not trying to be lecturing you or anything). The reality is you need a roof over your head, food, transportation, etc... Do I miss being a broke ass student with no other worries than where my next bong hit was coming from? Hell yeah, but the days of packing it up and heading west living off the land and such is gone (too bad). It does suck going to work every day and paying bills and all that crap. As for hearing money money money money when you listen to SBS.....well I can't change your opinion ( or want to) but try this out. This morning when
  13. Jesus No!!!!! That would mean they sold out to those evil nefarious hippie dope smokin' ice cream purveyors Have you lost your mind man?
  14. I got 10 or so....I couldn't really see many of them too well
  15. Yep...they used to have all those booths set up at the fairgrounds, not anymore. I think a lot of emerging and not so well known artists still do it but not like they used to. Like I said I'm not a fan of country or anything but it seemed to me that was a cool thing for artists to do. But the powers that be have changed it all....Nashville is gettting kinda weird lately. A lot of violent crime (of course the crime goes up as it gets warmer out), there's a real problem growing with illegal aliens in the Nolensville Road area, a lot of dope around (hard core stuff, leading to a lot of homicides
  16. Yeah...they announced it was closing a few months ago here in Nashvegas nobody really seemed to care. That whole part of Murfreesboro road is all new houses and what not now so I'm not surprised they sold it. Big $$$ for real estate developers. It's kind of sad that there really isn't a decent place for concerts (except for the Ryman) here in Nashville. Music City my ass. Nobody really seems to come here (or at least nobody I like) anymore (except Wilco of course). Next week they have the CMA festival (used to be FanFair) and though I don't care for country music at all they have even manage
  17. Too many stats! I remember the good old days watching a game on tv, you got batting avg, HR, and RBI's thats it.... They are fun to look at though. I can't imagine any other sport having as many stats as baseball
