yeah, I disagree. High schools are filled with the stuff. I suppose the whole of the pro peloton are losers with no self esteem, but there are still gazillions of people who will follow in their shoes. Our entire culture (and yes, even Canada) is steeped in competition. So unless one moves to a commune and never allows their children the opportunity to play sports it's pretty much a crap shoot.
