I just put the battery back in after using the hair dryer on it for a few minutes and letting it air dry for about an hour. It turned on. That's a good sign.

I left Jason's phone in the pocket of my jeans when I did laundry. His phone went through a cold wash cycle. Is it done for? It's a Motorola Razr V3m, if that helps.

I'm not a big turkey fan. I think we're doing roast beef or something like that. I might attempt some sort of sweet potato dish to bring to celebrate with Jason's family. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving on my side.

I neglected my children for about 1/2 hour and made Grace this outfit made with 2 of my old t-shirts. This is just my practice outfit. Don't pay any attention to the fact that the stripes on the sleeves go in different directions...

It's like MySpace for knitters and crocheters. www.ravelry.com

I think crocheting is easy but my grandma taught me when I was about 6 years old, so it's natural for me. Get the Stich n Bitch "Happy Hooker" book if you want to learn. I think those books are great for beginners. I can crochet a scarf in about an hour and a half. It took me about a month to knit "My So Called Scarf" Nevermind the dumb self portrait... This one took me about 45 minutes to crochet

I've kind of put knitting on the back burner for now. I can crochet way faster so I've been making scarflettes and trying to sell them on etsy. And who says legwarmers are out of style? My babies wear them all the time. PD, I finally got on Ravelry, are you on it?

The middle east (not sure which country specifically) for Tabbouleh and Fattoush

So if your 3 year old were left with a sitter so you and your significant other could enjoy a night out and something happened to them that was life threatening, you wouldn't want to know about it until you got home? Are you serious? For the record, I'm one of the most laid back parents in the world. I don't spend my time worrying about what might happen. My 9 year old and 5 year old are off playing in the neighborhood unsupervised as I type this...

Do you have kids? I'd really like to know if my 7 month old was rushed to the hospital because her 20 month old brother left a piece of food on the floor and she choked on it. I really wouldn't like to wait until I got home to find out something like that. I know that I've tried to call a movie theatre once and no matter what I pressed on the phone, I couldn't get past the recording of the movies and the times they were playing.
-
I think it's more of an annoyance when I go to the grocery store with all of my kids than when I'm on the phone in the store. Maybe someone should taze my kids so others can shop without hearing "mom, can I have that?"

I don't think cell phones are the reason people don't go to movies anymore. It's too expensive. I can just wait a couple of months and get it in the mail from Blockbuster.

Telemarketers that keep calling and calling and calling. Really, telemarketers in general. I swear I'm on the do not call list and I keep getting a recording about the warranty that's about to expire on my vehicle. So last night at 7:00 they called AGAIN and instead of just hanging up, I pressed 1 like it said to do if you want to speak to a customer service representative. Then I get another recording saying "sorry, our office is currently closed." WTF? So they called back again today and I pressed 1 and told the lady that I didn't have a vehicle with a warranty that was about to expi -

Fox news did a story today about how if MSNBC hires Rosie, they will lose their integrity. I thought that was pretty ironic coming from the station who blamed the wildfires on terrorists. -
Grace as a ballerina (kind of) Jacob as a dinosaur and Ryan as a ninja. Jacob kept sitting on the curb and clapping like he was watching a parade. Austin as a guy with a cape and a scary mask

You can still buy plasma tvs and iPods when you save up enough to be able to afford it. Trust me, I do my part to help out the economy, just ask Jay. We're just smart about it.
