  1. "Instellar Space Revisted" by Nels Cline and Gregg Beriddan
  2. I have it on a solo bootleg from 1999. "We Disapeared" I believe it is called, and it is a great song.
  3. I love it when they do it because it makes it far more exciting.
  4. No way in hell did you just say that Bennet's songs are better than the new Wilco songs. You have to be kidding me big time.
  5. I do not think that is from the Vics shows because I went to the last night of taping May 7 and I heard from a fellow audience member (he saw 2 of the shows) that they were wearing the same clothes. And I remember Nels wearing a red shirt, plus it is in the video "Kicking Television" you can watch on Yahoo. I also heard in an interview that Tweedy did not release the DVD because the shots were way too close and all the audience members were wearing commerical apparel. So when shots went to the audience you would see advertisting for Old Navy. Finally, are Sam Jones and Wilco on bad terms
  6. It is great documentary that showcases the raw talent of the Stones during the Mick Taylor era. The only bad thing about the doc is seeing the killing that took place to with one of the hell angels and a young african american. But the killing as the documentary shows it is, is almost a symbolic ending to the 60's.
  7. I am glad rbally is back after being a way for a while.
  8. I am having trouble opening the files onto ITunes. Does anyone know what I am supposed to do?
  9. Around the beginning of December I listened to all of "A Ghost Is Born" including the fantastic drone.
  10. who was in the bunny costume, he had a box called Bob the bunny. The drumming was cool, but wasted ten mintues of Wilco playing,
  11. Me, I am just glad to see Wilco for a fourth time. I saw them at the Vic on May 7, 2005, at farm aid, and at Lollapoolza. But if I had to choose, I would go for Less Than You Think especially the drone.
  12. Did anyone ever record Jeff Tweedy and Jim O'Rourke at Noise Pop festivial at Chicago's Double Door in 2000. If so, could someone post it.
  13. I tried importing the Cd to my Itunes and it did. However, I believe the file is m4a. rather than an MP3. So it still won't hold. Myspace can really be a pain in the butt.
  14. I have a myspace for music, but I am trying to transfer my songs from an audio file to my myspace; however, the files need to be an mp3. I am not techonogically skilled, but does anyone know if there's a way to change the files from audio to mp3?
  15. Awesome fucking slideslow.
  16. I got mine yesterday, which was Nov 7, 2006. Can't wait.
  17. Are you kidding me, the problem with you guys is you have no idea about his back catalog. Nels can play anyting; he is a punk/jazz/country guitarist. You say he has know idea about the rootsy stuff, if you knew that he was in a goth-country band called the Geraldine Fibbers and created a solid album called "Butch", or he can play solos found in the south or if youtube Nels Cline you can listen to his cover of a Willie Nelson with Carla Bozulich. His playing on the song is amazing. You also say his brand of noise is boring, just listen to the live verison of "A Shot in the Arm" and find that Ne
  18. What about "What makes a Man Start Fires".
  19. Doesn't Tweedy solo in the begining, the verses, the first solo after the power chord riff, and then him and Nels solo together on the second solo. To me, it sounds like that on Kicking Television album.
  20. I was googling Jim O'Rouke to look up articles about him when I saw Google's advertisment by Amazon saying he had a new cd coming out. I believe it comes out Nov. 7, and is called "Translate Takemitu". In addition, it's also an import. Can anyone else confirm this?
  21. Finally, someone knows what their talking about. Verlaine is amazing just listen to both Televison records and his solo collection. John Fahey is fantastic on acoustic. Also, add in Nels Cline especially the album Destroy All Nels Cline. and: Thurston Moore/Lee Ranaldo Jim O'Rourke-His acoustic playing on "Bad Timing" is great Ira Kaplan Derek Bailey I can't believe I forgot to add D. Boon
  22. I thought you guys would be all over this, here's the story from Pitchfork: We've seen Jeff Tweedy enter rehab, throw up in theaters, and dress homeless chic at Lollapalooza, but nothing could have prepared us for this one. According to several reader reports, entries made on the Via Chicago and Flaming Lips fan message boards, and an interview with Pat Hagin, managing partner of the concert promotion company and nightclub the Pageant, last night's Wilco show at Springfield, MO's Shrine Mosque got a little out of hand. According to an anonymous Pitchfork reader, Tweedy punched a rowdy
