this whole thing is so Fing stupid. All we need to do is return the marginal rates a few percentage points to where they were ten years ago and we can do every single thing that needs to be done. We can fix it all and noone would even notice the difference. Its so friggin easy and logical but the republicans have this new oath of thou shalt never raise taxes on anyone ever again and its killing everything.

You know Ive had this stupid idea for awhile. I wanted to give Jeff Tweedy and band the Great American Music Hall show and tell them just to check the first 4 songs. Letting them know that these had never been played before live. First time ever. Especially Help>Slip. I think this might convert them. Whadya think??

are you a man or a woman? someone pulled you down into your seat??? this happened to me when they used to open with Hell is Chrome. Its a bit slow at the beginning and we were in a theatre in Baltimore. some couple starting heckling us for standing (everyone would be standing within minutes) my buddy turns and says "FUCK OFF ITS A ROCK CONCERT" it terrified me at the time but I realized later it couldnt have been more right. If they want to sit and see they should go to a seat where they can sit and see. Its why I love how Springsteen makes all his shows GA floor no matter what.

no but telling someone else to sit down is DEFINITELY an inferior outlook.

the venue looked cool in pictures. i lived in raleigh a few years back consulting for the state of nc. sorry for folks that live there but i couldnt get out of there fast enough. I absolutely hated living there and got into a funk like never before. people that live there seem to love it but it sure as hell wasnt for me.

i absolutely love every single scene with michael pitt in it and im straight. i just cant get enough of Jimmy and also Michael Shannon of course. Great great acting.

i thought what i heard on colbert was fugging AWESOME it feels like something you have to let yourself feel rather than listen to if that makes any sense. it felt good to me.
