omg that would be AWESOME to see! i find that almost every time i see wilco, the openers are not very exciting. that being said, i did not see dr. dog open for wilco this tour. i saw richard swift and he did not do it for me.

they played pretty much that exact set at ACL. i also looooved no cars go>haiti. also, at ACL they closed with wake up which is the most amazing closer EVER. what did you think of the stage design?

that poster was designed by someone named john lackey. how badly do i wish it was the angels pitcher that designed it?

the show is almost never a solid hour from one band. they almost always split it up between 2 bands. however, ACL loves wilco so it's not out of the realm of possibility for them to give wilco the full hour. we'll see!

there's still 10 games left to play...this is intense!

austin DOES rule!

it might have been red eye. it's not very bluesy on the studio album but he's been really going to town on that song when he plays it live. i loooove it. most of his stuff is pretty poppy so it's hard to tell how talented he is on the guitar.

i DO dig ben kweller! i had to miss his set, which broke my little heart, but someone ripped the audio off the webcast for me so i can at least hear the new songs. i can't wait for his new album!

fun pictures!! and seriously, the air conditioned bathrooms are probably my favorite part of having VIP. i had VIP last year and it was amaaaazing. i like free food and booze but i REALLY like air conditioning

this was a great festival set! i was SO excited they played casino queen. i always love dancing to that one. they played a lot of older stuff and that made me very happy, not that i don't love sbs though! i walked around in the crowd a lot during the set, trying to find my "perfect spot" to stand and i encountered a lot of boring people. no singing or dancing or anything. it was a very odd sight for me...austin loves wilco. oh yeah, did anyone else see justin long (the mac guy) watching the show from the side of the stage? i think jake gyllenhaal was there as well.

that could possibly be because it was a festival show and not one of their own. my best friend was in costume dancing on stage with them last night. i'm soooo jealous!

i knew i would be kicking myself for not going to this but driving to dallas and back just wasn't in the cards. luckily i had a really fantastic night in austin which almost makes up for the fact that they freakin' played it's just that simple. uughhh...it's so hard wanting to be in 2 or 3 places at once!

i am still so unbelievably jealous of those of you that got to go to this. but i'm so happy for all of you that got in!!
