Yeah, the WVU show was great. All Wilco, all the time.

man, the day after I buy the Phonograph EP on iTunes I get wind of this news. Oh well. -
So glad to see Forget the Flowers is being played lately.

Haha, yeah. I was gonna say, maybe you thought it was the greatest thing because anything would have tasted like the greatest thing at that point in your evening But that definitely sounds like a cool idea. Our Buggy just stays in one spot on the street.
-
I think another reason I like this a lot more than previous Radiohead albums because Yorke's voice seems a lot less whiny and shaky? Anyone else feel that way?
-
I am so pumped for this. I get to see Spoon on Saturday, then Wilco AND Andrew Bird in the same night. Could be the best few days of live music I'll ever see. I'll have to check out that burrito place. If Wilco ever comes to Ohio University, everyone should check out the Burrito Buggy.

That's nice to know. Sounds like they are already working out some ideas and stuff. I'm sure most bands do this most of the time, but it's kind of fun just to think about what they may be playing or messing around with behind closed doors before shows.

Anyone else here like Phonograph? I loved their full length release, so I had to get this new EP that came out yesterday. Really loved the first song, listening to the rest now. Seems to be a bit more folky than the LP.

I agree, In Rainbows is a much better album overall. While SBS has its standout tracks, it has a few hiccups and yawns.
-
I'm not going to these shows, but I think Fionn Regan would be a terrific opener.

Best: 15 Step, Bodysnatchers, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, Jigsaw Falling Into Place weak links: House of Cards and Videotape Overall, I think I like this more than the past few Radiohead albums because Yorke's voice seems a bit less whiny and shaky.

This album is absolutely terrific and I'm not a huge fan of their other stuff. I love it.
-
I'm sure the drone from Less Than You Think would have brought in more fans.
-
Is anyone else diggin this album as much as I am? I think it is fantastic. I love the guitar work and all the percussive sounds he creates with it. I think it is a beautiful album. A+

Dear Joe Torre, Please come manage the Reds. Thanks (but only if Tony LaRussa turns us down first)

Calling a timeout when the kicker kicks the ball is so bush league. They need to ban that. If you wanna ice the kicker, go ahead and ice him as the teams line up, not as he is kicking it. I equate this to the rule they banned in the NBA and NCAA bball, where you cannot call a timeout in mid air to save your team's possession. Let them play. I'm so glad Folk nailed both of those field goals. And I'm glad the Auburn kicker killed Florida in the same exact way. Get that bogus time out call outta here. I'm not a Cowboys fan, but that team is fun to watch and kudos to them for a great comeback

Are The Beatles your favorite band ever?
DAngerer09 replied to Sir Stewart's topic in Someone Else's Song
I Am The Walrus is one of my favorite songs ever, but they aren't my favorite band. I love everything Rubber Soul and beyond. Can't really get into much before that period. -
It's really cool Wilco was on the show, but I really don't like Passenger Side much at all. I've never understood all the love it gets. No offense...but that song just doesn't do anything for me.

I hope Hawaii and Cincinnati end up being the only undefeated teams. Hypothetically, if this happened, I think the BCS would leave one, if not both of them out. They would take a one loss USC/LSU/OSU over those schools. I'm rooting hard for the BCS to not work. I'm a playoff pusher. I love how every week matters, but I think if you had an 8 team playoff, every week would still matter and be just as intense. I even did a research project on this for a public speaking class. I could go on forever on why a 8 or 12 team playoff would be so much better, more exciting, more climactic and make mo

I hope about 10 teams end up with 1 loss. I want the BCS to look as bad and as confusing as possible.
-
I don't really like DMB much, but I agree with auburn, the acoustic stuff with Tim Reynolds is really pretty good.
-
you can download a free audio program called Audacity which you could capture the stream with. It works fairly well and is a simple program to use.
-
yeah, upload that baby.

How recent is this show? I thought he "quit" music?
