so i had the nut on my tele packed with filler to raise the strings a little but today at practice i couldnt keep the guitar in tune it seems like they are getting stuck in the nut. anything i can do with this before the show i need to play tomorrow night?, i dont wanna fuck anything up

wow, that video was awesome conor's got much better recently, i use to dig his old stuff but now find it a little hard to stomach. Im Wide Awake is perfect record, Digital Ash too and i really love the new one especially how much better he got at singing, much deeper and less affected and i agree with the comment about Brakeman, what a tune!

for me the engineer demos sound like a more extreme version of YHFs concept. the finished product is a more subtle and thats a good thing in my books though i think if you're already a fan of the record and want more the demos are a real treat.

what is Jay doing in IATTBYH, when he tunes the A string on that guitar up to a Bb then crouches and puts something infront of it?, it kinda looks like one of those little hand whisks lol

i cant download the original demos cos i dont know how to convert SHN, im still digging the engineers though does everyones Venus Stop the Train stop early?

so if i download the regular demos is it worth getting the ones that are also on the engineer demos??

i believe Jeff actually uses 13s, i saw a D'Addario advert in some guitar magazine with a pack of acoustic mediums and then electric 13s i use 11s, tried 12s for a bit and they sounded awesome but maybe a little tough and you cant bend them

can you not just use the strat neck pick up?, there pretty jazzy...roll the tone off a bit, presto! if you are set on a hollowbody my friend has the Epi Dot, and its a cool guitar sounds great, nice to play. ive never played the higher end epi's but they may be worth checking out, might be even better
