The Central will be fun this year. everyone except the Astros look competitive.

For those of you who dont pay attenion to the NL Central, the St. Louis Cardinals are scary good. i can see them keeping up this type of dominant play until it gets cold out. Scary good.......swept the Mets, looking to sweep the Cubs. oh boy. barring injury, this team looks like the best in NL right now. (even without Carpenter.) ouch. Sorry Cubs, sorry Brewers, Reds, etc.....

i agree i enjoy his earlier albums a little more than the new one. He is great live, maybe the live performances of the new songs will make you see/hear them in a new way. this usually does it for me on songs im not into.

sad but i dont feel bad for them, this is the NHL playoffs, you have to show up, you cant let goalies get hot, gotta keep on the pressure, Ducks have done this before with Giguere, he was the hot goalie in the past and they rode him all the way.... The Canucks are really slamming the Blues....

Goose Gossage-style, Brewers RP Todd Coffey 8 out save, 2.2 innings to hold off the talented Mets. woo hoo!

The Pabst is a great venue, they host a bunch of shows and many shows are priced under $20. M Ward is here next week for $15! plus, they just started "No Buck" shows, free shows.......and despite what people think about the beer, $3 Pabst Tall Boys are great!

You could be in pictures By Kathy Flanigan of the Journal Sentinel Apr. 15, 2009 In town for their second sold-out concert, Wilco has invited fans to a 5 p.m. photo shoot for an upcoming CD booklet. It's at the Pabst Theater. That's at 144 E. Wells St., just in case your ticket stub isn't handy. The guys won't be there. They did a separate shoot this afternoon on Old World Third Street outside Mader's and in the Historic Turner Hall parking lot. And they brought a camel. That's according to eye witness Melinda Caughill, whose office is on West Highland Avenue. She would have bee

What is wrong with Bonifacio? only 1 for 6!?! he's cooling down........ no really, he's awesome.

Bruins tonight! Go Bruins! I think they have a great chance to win the East but it will hard to beat SJ-DET in the finals...... I loved that Phil Kessel finished with 34, maybe 35 goals this year. too bad he was hurt for a few weeks, probably net more.

i had a great time at the show. The band was funny tonight, Nels' fashion show catwalk, Pat commentating on what he was wearing, Tweedy and the whole Brewer-Cub thing. but the music was great. Seemed like a classic show ending with the Being There tracks and A.M. took me back to the good ole days. Happy to hear Shouldnt Be Ashamed. Cant remember if i heard that at the Residency shows so it was a cool surprise. Nels just killed it Germany-Handshake, he's too much fun to watch play guitar. Very happy Wilco came to my hometown and played two straight nights. Next best thing would be my front

from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Review Wilco gives sparkling performance By Jon M. Gilbertson, Special to the Journal Sentinel Posted: Apr. 15, 2009 When Wilco announced two shows at the Pabst Theater, tickets sold out faster than passes to a job fair promising $80,000-a-year positions to every attendee. At the first gig, on Tuesday night, the Chicago-based sextet didn't offer anything quite so currently rare as such employment, but it gave a dusty jewel of a performance. Wilco has long been considered unclassifiable by its fans, which isn't quite true: Many influences were evi

i was also there and i would concur that it was an energetic, loose, fun set. the band was having a good time. Nels was expressive, Jeff humorous as usual and Glenn's atop the drumset pose was great. Definitely a rocking set, a great warm up to tonight show/webcast. (ive gotten over the loud-talkative rock crowd. Ive been to different kinds of shows (quiet bands-loud bands) and someone or group of people are always talking. THey just dont get it, nothing i can do) Being a longtime Brewer fan, I did get a kick out of Jeff wearing a Brewer hat for the encores. and the pandering was funny

75% of their bodies were covered by fabric and foam in the shape of clowny sausage character and 25% were black jeans and boots and Hush Puppies shoes......so i dont know who won. Nels pulled a hammy though so he wont be performing the next two nights. -

compared to the Cubs broadcast interview, Len Casper is a fan of the band so it was evident of his enthusiam but if he wasnt a fan or didnt know them, like Bob Brenly who didnt say anything, Tweedy didnt even look at him, it would have been similar. I appreciated it for its surrealness/ackwardness, its what you get when a jock interviews a musician. -

Nice, Im watching the Brewer game on TV and they are interviewing Tweedy right now. He is wearing a Brewer Hat and his jean jacket. He said they are going to play a "loose, rock show." They said Wilco has a Grateful Dead-like following. Mentioned recording a new album, the webcast, DVD. Sort of embarrassing the broadcasters didnt know much about Wilco, made a few mistakes with information. THe Interview was funny though, some nervousness yet funny little jokes. It was obvious these guys never interviewed a rock musician. Tweedy mentioned he drives the bus. The whole band was in the -
The Brewers havent been on SNB since 1997 and based on their pitching performances tonight it will probably be another 12 years until they get on again.

i think this is pretty cool. I'll be watching the game on TV but they dont usually televise the first pitch. maybe im wrong. Wonder if he will be wearing a Brewer uniform? Wilco in Milwaukee Monday to Wednesday, that is crazy. -
Sorry Cubs fans, Brewers win Home Opener!!!! wow, what a game! im glad they came back and beat the Cubs especially after Harden mowing down 10 guys. phew!
