Ryan Adams releases EIGHT albums
Smokestack Joe replied to Welsh Rich's topic in Someone Else's Song
i also Warren Peace is really good! i like the first 4 songs. say what you want....ryan adams has fun making music, he comes under a lot of scrutiny, self-made or otherwise, but he keeps it loose and fun. i dig it. -
the Louris music video in the bonus section is cool. there is a scene where a little boy is playing drums in a studio. im assuming that is Gary's son.
-
Does anyone know where i can obtain Gary Louris's song from the documentary Wordplay? if you havent seen it and you like crossword puzzles, you'll love the doc. plus there is a music video in the bonus section of Gary playing one of his songs. it features his young boy.

my iPod's battery has died for the second major time in less than two years. such a great product but it seems as if it was purposely made with a poor battery so we have to spoon out more and more money to feed our musical needs. i hope i have some warranty time left, if not, i probably wont replace it. ive done research, found alternative ways for battery replacement, checked prices, but nothing guarentees that the battery wont die in another 6 months to a year, meanwhile my cassette player and Cd player (fully functional yet old and not as sexy) collects dust waiting to be wanted again.

as of thursday, my iPod battery became deceased for the second time in two years. g-damn iPod batteries are for shit.

are you talking about the april 1999 show? i think jeff said it was the first show of the summerteeth tour. i remember the show, particularly, the song Summerteeth. Jay's opening guitar riff and jay jeff john all standing adajent "Ooooh, ahhhh" at the end of the song. Plus they had these red/white lights bouncing around the room during that song. side note: i remember during the Mermaid Ave 1 tour they played at Barrymore and i smoked a J in the car before the show, first (and probably last) time stoned at wilco show

i know CJ, the photographer. I am very jealous being a photographer myself, that he got to photograph the show. He works for the Pabst.

I just want to say to Jeff: Thanks for coming to Milwaukee.

it was a great show, near full crowd, respectful audience, except WOOHOO guy in balcony (i think he was baiting jeff, he wanted to get a response, certain people want to hear Tweedy go off on someone) Tweedy was in good shape, good setlist. I liked hearing the new songs especially Lullabys..Hearing all the Being There tunes especially Dreamer in my Dreams was great, it reminded me of the Wilco 8 years ago when they jammed Dreamer. someone next to the stage requested Too Far Apart where Jeff replied "yes we are too far apart." Also, someone near the stage asked "how's your foot?" which sur

Ghost piano: Autumn Defense opened and they had a Steinway piano on stage which Pat Sansone was playing. They rolled it off to the side of the stage. While Jeff was playing Im Trying To Break Your Heart, if you were close enough, you could barely hear the piano part being played off in the distance. Jeff noticed and seemed startled in a way, he turned his head to his left and smiled when he saw Pat backstage fingering the keys. jeff stopped playing for a bit and Pat played the piano part of the song. Jeff incorporated the lyrics "pat is trying to break My heart." afer the song, jeff bowed to

crowther prunes and custard pedal?
Smokestack Joe replied to velvet touch's topic in Solid State Technology
where have you guys purchased Crowther products from online? -
before the drinking comment? yes for some time....
-
where can you purchase Crowther online? i know they are a British company... the Boss OD is quite cheap, not sure what type of quality it is. You can look up a lot of reviews on pedals at Harmony Central. they have reviews for a lot of gear. good place for research.
