Avetts are a hoot live. go talk to them after the show, they are nice guys
-
i think they are fun to see, Johnny Hickman is a great guitar player and David Lowery has that asshole, sarcastic edge to him. good stuff

so tickets went on sale for the presale at 10am sharp Central time, i checked in at that time and there were no tickets available. how can this be true? "At this moment there are not enough tickets available to fulfill your request. Please try again using a lower quantity or tickets or choosing a different ticket type. Currently there are not enough General Admission tickets to fulfill your request."

Hotel Arizona --aside from Misunderstood, when i heard this for first time i knew AM was far in the rear view mirror, this song opened the band up for sonic space and feedback. love to hear Nels' version. Don't Fear the Reaper --Probably one of my favorite Wilco covers live, Nels just attacks the solo hardcore Feed of Man --Love the bluesy riff, again, would love to hear Nels' take on it, Ive always enjoyed the Tweedy vocal on this one too.

where can i find this LEAK? thanks

i agree with you fuller. I like all Wilco records and they are all different, evoke different emotions what not....i think people get emotional when it comes to their favorite, most prized band, whether its through defending them or selling them. i like it for what it is. I have enjoyed wilco since AM years, and my "obsession" as friends call it, has become more relaxed. I get excited to see them live or watch a DVD, but i dont get crazy like i used to. Ive learned to just enjoy the music and not get caught up in all the hype.

wilco has been on Conan/Leno/Letterman many times over the years. Does someone have an archive of these performances on mp3 file? I have: Conan: Is That The Thanks I Get Letterman: Can't Stand It - War on War Leno: Jesus Etc. Thanks

pick up Avett Brothers Emotionalism it is a great record that will keep you good company until it arrives.

all studio albums on vinyl and i got lucky getting the Being There: All Over the Place EP LP

i agree with a lot of these great comments about Wilco's best record. when i ripped open the packaging and heard the first notes/sounds of Misunderstood (especially after the country-tinged AM, UT followup record) you knew Wilco was on its way to be something special. the record is heartfelt, jovial, rollicking, witty, yes drunken weekend kind of way.... but what i love most about this record or this era is there LIVE set. I love nels cline and glenn kotche but the lineup during Being there was the best. jeff would wear cowboy hats, jay bennett's dreadlocks, the best renditions of Kingpin

has the second performance from Henry Rollins show surfaced?

danny clinch, photographer, is filiming the ryan adams DVD movie, i emailed after i saw the September short film, he actually responded that day saying he was currently filiming and not sure when it would be out. i think he has got great footage though. Ryan and Lesh at Red Rocks, Ryan and Willie in the studio, and of course the Cardinals. delmar kurt: goodnight rose reminds me of the jams i heard/saw of Del Mar back at UWW
