Anyway more concrete info is supposedly March 5th for the record and then a tour following that. Maybe they will open for the Jicks? Just a guess on that part.

Word is they are working on a new album, although Janet is playing with the Jicks and they have a new record coming out early this year, right?

Yeah I guess his solo set was the opener. We got there about five minutes before the Cardinals went on so I'm not 100% on what went on.

Tonight was good (sort of). He was in a good mood but sick and hopped up on caffeine so he talked for a long time between songs which was hilarious but annoying. It seemed like the rest of the Cardinals were getting a little tired of it too at times, but all in all a good fun show. They sure did rock when they were playing though. Apparently Ryan played a solo set just like OU Chad said and then played two more sets with no encore. Nice mix of songs too. Good times.

I'm 5' 10" because I like Radiohead and Wilco.

Yes Lupe Fiasco is swell but Wayne's freestyles over already popular songs such as We Takin Over and Walk It Out are insane. Plus the sheer amount of material that Wayne does is beyond incredible.

He is "the rapper eater". Anybody else think his freestyles aren't to be messed with? I'm assuming (possibly incorrectly) that this is the wrong board to be talking about Lil Wayne, but I was just wondering if other Via Chicagoans have anything to say about him.
