Argh! I will be at school on the other coast for the Charleston show. Big bummer. Oh well, I'll catch em next time.

Three of my tracks are protected. Anyone know an easy way to deal with this? -

I'm ready for a new band of horses interview. This same one is getting old.

I'm game. There was a commercial for something chocolate a couple of years back where a guy goes up to these yuppies and asks if they want to try one and one of the yuppies says "Yeah, I'm game!" It drove me crazy. -
Look at that! Connections made every day thanks to ViaChicago

The latest Ryan Adams thread

I'm very excited for Santa Barbara. I've been listening to the November 16th boot and they sound fantastic. This will also be my first Ryan show. -
Plus the turn around time for episodes is only about a week or so. They get to comment on super current events unlike the Simpsons which are written months in advance.

About a year and a half ago the very same thing happened to me! But this story has a happy ending because although I really love Band of Horses, I mainly went to see the opener, Simon Dawes, who are awesome by the way. Simon Dawes happened to be sitting outside the venue when we showed up a couple of hours before the show to try to buy tickets. Since I had talked to them after their show the last time I saw them they remembered me and said they would try to put us on their guest list. It all worked out but that doesn't really help out your situation. Sorry.

I love it when the Wilco is turned on. I go to school at UCSB and heard Being There in IV while walking home from a party. I really wanted to walk into that house/apartment and say "Good job gang."

Oh PS: If you ever need to kill some time, go to THIS PLACE! You can watch (or download) every episode as well as the movie. I've killed a lot of time there and now you can too.

No, I'll have to search for it!

No truer words have ever been spoken.

The Mustang bridge is the route I'm taking because it stops the buzz as well as the saddle problem.

Thank you. Especially for because it doesn't get enough love even from GBV fans.

They continue to blow me away with hilarious awesomeness. Imaginationland? Genius! Yay for witty satire and social criticism!

I prefer him with Ryan Adams.

I guess that Superdrag know how to write the perfect pop songs...Who Sucked Out the Feeling is my instant-go-to-power-pop-feel-good-hit-of-the-century. PS: I Don't Want To Get Over You by the Magnetic Fields is pretty great in many ways.

The Clash - "Police On My Back" Elliott Smith - "High Times" Beach Boys - "I'm Waiting for the Day" (You didn't think! No! That I could sit around and let you! Go!) Band of Horses - "I Lost My Dingle On the Red Line" Bob Marley - "Punky Reggae Party"

So much for the 335...I got a reissue Jaguar from the early 2000s. I got a great deal on it so I'm pretty happy. It sounds really good, I just think I'm going to change the bridge out to a Mustang one, which would rid it of the two biggest problems I have with it: The strings jumping out of the saddles and the slight buzzing whenever my hands aren't near the neck/body. Anyone know if it's easy to do (I could do it myself) or otherwise? I'll take some pics of it next week when I get back home so ya'll can see it.

I thought that as a documentary it stunk pretty badly but if you are somewhat familiar with the Lips before watching, you'll enjoy it.

Well now they are playing three dates at the end of June/beginning of July in England.

I nearly cried at the end of this one.
