I always took it as having a laugh at Dylan's expense. He has all those songs like "Bob Dylan's 115th Dream" and "Bob Dylan's Blues" and "Bob Dylan's Dream".

Son Volt opening for Wilco opening for Uncle Tupelo. And they would all play full sets so it would be about 6 hours of awesome.

Not soon enough.

That's a pretty rad interview.

Any kind soul want to PM an invite? I've been using torrents for a long while so I know about share ratios and the like. PS: I've never been invited before.

Hold My Hand or Cheese and Onions

Yeah but I mean, come on. What else are we going to talk about?
-
I dig their early mod stuff

Yeah it's in either 15 step or Bodysnatchers. I can't remember which. They just kind of shout.

Amen. This album really makes me want to hear what Jim Eno would do with this band, yeah?
-
After listening to the album twice already, All I Need almost made me cry when the drums and cymbals all kicked in at right around 2:55.

Videotape dissapointed me a tad, but only because I loved the 2006 live version so much and the album version is vastly different. I still really like this one on the album though. I want Jim Eno to coproduce the next record.

Check your junk mail because mine was hiding in there. 15 step sounds sooooo good! Soooo good. Bummer about the lower quality but it still sounds great!

Life is Shit is my favorite song by them, what's yours?

Anyone else holding out for a solo tour this winter? Timing seems to add up...or is this just wishful thinking?

I love a good brawl. (I would have done a popcorn eating face but we don't got it.)

My current housemate brewed in his dorm room last year and he's currently brewing a new batch now. I forgot what kind it is but his batches are always delicious so I'm looking ofrward to it.

They just sent out more letters pretty recently. A couple of kids at my school got caught.
-
I didn't think of either/or, strangely enough. It is my favorite album of his, if you couldn't tell by my picture.
-
I would enjoy one.

So here are some of my ideas for a possible tattoo (or three) in the not too distant future: South Carolina (home state) outline with the wall from Elliott Smith's album Figure 8 inside, like so: The muted posthorn from Crying of Lot 49 (just black and not red like in this picture): Either "say yes", "stickman", or "a distorted reality is now a necessity to be free" in the Elliott Smith handwriting font: I'm going to let these ideas mull around in my brain for a good while before deciding on anything just to be sure, nawmean? Suggestions? Hatemail? Bring it.

I shelled out what ended up being 80 bucks (damn you shitty conversion rate!) without even thinking twice. I'm sure this is going to be the best purchase of the year.

I'm pumped. I think this is a great way to release the album.
