  1. Was listening to Centro-Matic's last one in the car yesterday. Good band.
  2. I too missed out on the record store day Big Star release, which was a major let down at the time. Omnivore, the label that released that record is now selling clear vinyl editions that they pressed at the same time as the RSD ones. So, if you're still looking you can order one here: http://omnivorerecordings.com/shop/records/
  3. Yeah, I probably should have passed on this one. Okay, here's the next one:
  4. That went quite in-depth into Nels' gear, cool!
  5. Well then, what are you waiting for . I just got mine in the mail today. I watched that the other day too, very enjoyable doc. Such a great record!
  6. Sad to hear that. I recently picked up the disc below, so much good stuff on it. I'm a fan of his son Shuggie's work too. Talented family.
  7. Looking forward to hearing the new Bruce album, though I must say I'm mildly annoyed with the lack of originality on the album title. C'mon Bruce, Emmylou Harris put out Wrecking Ball in 1995, you couldn't think of another title?
  8. Yes, it definitely falls into that category. Come to think of it, that is the case for a lot of vegetarian diner/cafes I've been to in North America.
  9. Another vegetarian here. One of my favorite vegetarian restaurants in Chicago is The Chicago Diner, a must hit place for me whenever I'm in town. http://www.veggiediner.com/wp/
  10. The Magnetic Fields John K. Samson Craig Finn Leonard Cohen Lambchop Janelle Monae Sigur Rós Patterson Hood
  11. Really liked this. May have to check out the 6 part series this was compiled from next.
  12. This being Frank, this isn't some boring straightforward biography thankfully.
  13. I was there a few months back, had a great time. The Country Music Hall of Fame and RCA Studio B tour are worth doing. If doing both, best bet is to get a combo ticket at the Country Music HoF as they bus you to the RCA studio and back. The Ryman Auditorium is also a must for any music fan. The Hermitage (home of Andrew Jackson) was fairly interesting too.
  14. Ha, that's cool. The puzzle part is missing but I have a hunch the answer is probably: Seoul Music.
