  1. Is "Davin" some kind of new euphemism for a reach-around?
  2. Satriani always struck me as a guy with amazing technical chops but zero soul. A machine. It seems he was only saved from Guitar Center obscurity because he happened to be Steve Vai's guitar instructor.
  3. Should be a great game tomorrow... at least this guy thinks so.
  4. TMWSIY= The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday (also often referred to simply as "Gamehenge") was Trey's thesis. It included the following songs: "Introduction (Wilson Prelude)" "The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday" "The Lizards" "Tela" "Traveling Narrative" "Wilson" "AC/DC Bag" "Betrayal Narrative" "Colonel Forbin's Ascent" "Fly Famous Mockingbird" "Errand Wolfe's Narrative" "The Sloth" "Forbin in the Dungeon Narrative" "Possum" It was a full fictional story that has been played live as the full narrative only a handful of times. There are other songs that are a part of the story as well (Ll
  5. I actually had the original self-released Junta cassette (I wish I could still find it; I hear it is worth a mint) that I got in '88 (before it even made it to stores). Fee is indeed the first song on the cassette. It is true, however, that the original version ended with Contact. Union Federal, Sanity and Icculus were added when Elektra re-released it after Picture of nectar was released. The original cassette-length version would not fit on a single CD, so they added the bonus tracks. They were supposedly tripping when they recorded that Union Federal. It definitely SOUNDS like it. As for
  6. Certain instances? Like USA Today Coach's Poll voters?
  7. Agreed. And while the believers that hate, judge or think badly of atheists/agnostics may be a vocal minority, they reflect badly on the entire flock, IMO (as the intolerant atheists reflect poorly on all atheists). I wish more Christians would stand up to the Dobsons and Robertsons of the world, not to mention the Phelps.
  8. Bluegrass "Old Enough" by the Raconteurs with Ricky Skaggs and Ashley Monroe Only gripe is Jack White and Skaggs don't harmonize well together imo.
  9. Yes, but are they Dr. Dre approved? Glad you found something. Let us know how they sound!
  10. Hey all, I'm involved in a little research project and I was hoping I might find some help here. I am looking for online publications/sites that serve as social hubs for students of select universities. A good example might be something like Do512.com in Austin. While that site is certainly not exclusive to UT students, it is a site students check out regularly (if I'm not mistaken). Here are the schools I'm looking for: Boston College California State University-Fresno Clemson University Cornell University Rochester Institute of Technology University of Alberta University of British Co
  11. I don't think you'll need them.
  12. Well my iTunes says its the name of the band.
  13. I can't really see any NEW footage in that clip. Is there any Season 5 footage in any of them?
  14. I was thinking about this and if the season ended today, this is how I would vote in a poll if I had a vote: 1. Florida 2. Oklahoma 3. Texas 4. USC 5. Alabama Alabama may prove me wrong, but I just feel that, were I a betting man, I would have to take all four of those teams ahead of Alabama with no spread on a neutral field. How would you rank them?
  15. Just last year: Song: The Good, The Bad & The Queen Album: The Good, The Bad & The Queen Band: The Good, The Bad & The Queen Damn good song, album and band too, if you ask me!
  16. He actually came across not half bad (for Rosenhaus) imo.
  17. Ah yes, I forgot they still have a game left. That little prick Neuheisel doesn't have a chance though.
  18. Aren't Penn State and USC the winners of the the Big 10(11) and PAC10 respectively? Doesn't that mean they will face each other in the Rose Bowl no matter what?
  19. Ha! Understood. Just throwing it out there.
  20. Have you ever tried the switching ears trick I mention above? That, to me, is as easy as it gets.
  21. With ya. I can't get ANY ear buds to stay in my ear and I use my earphones while active or on a plane so i don't want over the ear cans. I can't be of much help to Spawn's Dad though as I have Shures and love them. What do you find difficult about them? I use them in the correct ears when active and it can be a bit of a pain (though not really) to get them in the ear and around your head. But when I'm just sitting on a plane, I use the L in the right ear and R in the left ear and let them hang down in front of me. I find that just as easy as ear buds without the insecure feeling and WITH a hec
