Sorry that I'm just now replying.. I missed your post. No, actually I dont have a hubby.. I am my wife's "hubby" though.. lol.. I get mistaken for a female a lot because of my name, so I have changed it to just "Lamrod" to avoid further confusion. I didn't yell out "Macromaniac" but I do remember that.. hilarious moment.. Jeff was like "You were just waiting for the perfect moment to yell that out weren't you".. Jeff was really funny that night.. Remember "Indy Barry White"? Funny stuff...

Right on.. Well said.. Should be the closing statement in this thread. And about Nels, the man is a guitar genius. I'm a lead guitarist, been playing for 15 years, I studied at the Berklee College of Music, and I know a brilliant guitarist when I hear one.. And yes, Jay was great, but Nels is in a league of his own.. He really is the finishing touch that made Wilco a "perfect band".
-
Yeah, I've been waiting for them to come back to chucktown. I knew they would since the last show was such a hit. There's a huge Wilco fanbase here. I wouldn't wait too long on those tickets because I wouldn't be surprised if it sold out.

So how did everyone pan out with the public sale tickets?
-
Once again, nothing in the South.. Guess I need to move back up north again..
-
Aww.. no South Carolina?
-
Kick ass! Good for you. I'm glad I just decided to go to the site one more time before tomorrow.. Score!
-
Ok, I'm either really lucky, or this is too good to be true. I just went to check the pre-sale again, and landed these two tickets: Seat location: section PIT, row AA, center-right According to the seating chart here: http://www.coliseumpac.com/seating.php Those are front row, center-right???? Looks that way to me.. Maybe there are some good seats left for presale afterall.
-
I'm waiting until tomorrow.. I never could find any seats for yesterdays pre-sale that weren't on the upper level. Even though there really isn't a bad seat in the house, I still want the best I can get of course.. I think the prime seats wen't REALLY fast. Hopefeully they saved enough good ones for tomorrows public sale.
-
If he told you that, he'd probably have to kill you.. haha..
-
Thanks todd.. That was kind of you.
-
I'm at the ticketmaster site now and it does require a password to get the presale tickets.. NO IDEA where to get this password....
-
Yep, it was hit or miss.. I had the same problem with Charleston. If I chose more than one ticket, it would say no tickets available. And then eventually I couldn't get any.. But I'm hoping I can still land some decent seats when they publically go on sale Sat. And I hope you can too.
-
I think you'll be happy with your tickets no matter what.. PAC is a great venue. There's really not a bad seat in the house
-
No prob Analog, and thanks for your replies. All this internet ticket sales crap can be confusing.. I'll just see what it says on the ticketmaster site tomorrow morning. I don't even know why I'm worrying about presale anway.. I went through the public sale for the Charlotte show and got 2nd row seats. I'd just like to go back to the days when you had to go to the local record store and stand in line to get the good seats
-
I saw that, but I just thought it was a little strange. Why would they call it presale if it starts at 10 AM tomorrow and ends when they go on sale at 10 AM Saturday? I mean, doesn't that defeat the purpose of pre-sale? Why don't they just say they go on sale tomorrow at 10 AM? Unless they only set a certain ammount asside for tomorrow.. Or maybe I'm just making this more complicated than it really is!
-
I've been asking the same question all day. The ticketmaster site is a little misleading. It does say there is a presale tomorrow at 10 AM, but it doesn't say if it needs a password or any additional details. My plan is to check the ticketmaster site tomorrow at 10 and see if they go on sale.
-
Sorry, I was talking about the Charleston show.. Didn't mean to confuse. On the ticketmaster site for Charleston show, it says internet presale happens tomorrow 12/13 at 10.. But that's It.. Since theres no other info, I assume they will go onsale tomorrow at 10, but just through the ticketmaster site?? They should be more clear on that.. A little confusing..
-
You know, I've been so "technologyfied" I completely forgot about those days.. With all of the shenanigans we have gone through with this internet sale crap, standing in line sounds pretty damn good right now..
-
That's my plan.. To try Saturday at 10 AM sharp.. Thats what I did last time, and got 2nd row. Still a little puzzled by the whole "Internet Presale starts tomorrow 12/13 at 10 AM" message on the ticketmaster site.. Guess I'll check the ticketmaster site tomorrow at that time, but it's still a little confusing.
-
I'm wondering the same thing for Charleston.. On the ticket master site it says: Internet Presale Info Internet Presale: Start:Thu, 12/13/07 10:00 AM EST End:Sat, 12/15/07 10:00 AM EST SHORELINE & EFM PRESENT WILCO WWW.WILCOWORLD.NET ***** N CHAS PERFORMING ARTS CT FRI FEB 29 2008 8:00PM It would help if it gave a little more info than that!
-
Yep, go ahead and go to ticketmaster and get an account created. Like I said, you can still get good seats through public sale. When they go on sale, put in how many tickets you want. If you're not happy with the first seats that show up, just try again.. I did that about 5 times for the Charlotte show and landed 2nd row seats.
-
Atleast for Charleston, I'm not sure with Philly, but when I chose 2 tickets, it said that there weren't any available.. When I went down to 1 ticket, it was available.
-
You can still get the good seats. I didn't do pre-sale for the Charlotte show, and got 2nd row seats.
-
Looks like pre-sale is tomorrow for Charleston.. Maybe I'll be able to partake this time. Although when I went through ticket master last time, I got second row.
