From Murat show: Wonderwall

Wow - I wasn't paying attention, but this was a live internet broadcast last night on "Ryan Adams Radio" Another stellar setlist: A 3-hour show

Oh, my - you'll fit right in here at VC - we're expert at that. Welcome! and

Sorry. Yes, monitors. I did read that not long ago, too, but promptly forgot they did that. When he said he couldn't hear anything we were saying, my mind went right for ear plugs. But you're right. Thanks for the correction. Edit: OK - forgot to add that this was my favorite triple-play of the evening: Pearls On String Wildflowers Easy Plateau

Though it was a tough choice, I gave away my ticket for tonight's DBT Dirt Underneath show in Cleveland (with Spooner Oldham on slide even) to see RA in Indy. And I think I won the jackpot with this show. I sure expected to be home before this time, but I'm not complaning about why. Un-frickin believable show!!! I'm so excited and wide awake still, oh man. The Cardinals were on fire and Ryan Adams was having himself a really good time in Indy tonight, just laughing and smiling on stage while he was playing, really getting into a groove with the Cardinals. It was awesome to watch th

Me! Come say hi - are you anywhere near right side row C? I'd love to hear how the Dylan/Costello show was. Yeah, that Dalai isn't much of a rocker.

When I first came to VC, I thought that your avatar WAS YOU, Sir Stewart. But to this day, I have no idea who it really is. "Butt-hurt" ... now that phrase puts me in the mindset of a former poster named "givesskatersabadname"

I can't remember when they started doing that, but sometime if you're walking around the streets of Chicago and the el goes overhead, it will all make sense.
-
oooooohhhh! Lucky!

I loooooooooove this show. I guess I like the cutesy. And I love that I can watch the full episodes online anytime at ABC.com because I am terrible at remembering to watch at regular airtime.

Sounds like a wild birthday! Glad you had so much fun!!!

spunky today, aren't you?

Why would Andrew Bird being a hypothetical 7th Wilco member stop his solo career? Does Nels have a solo career? Yes. John and Pat? Yes. Glenn? Yes. Mikael? Yes. They all have solo careers -- and so does Tweedy when he's on the road with his own solo shows. It could be a very interesting direction for Wilco. I was completely stunned by what he added in those 4 songs in Detroit. I say YES!

Never heard of it. Who airs it?

Oh, you got Far Far Away in the soundcheck! I miss that song. Everytime I hear the opening notes of Sky Blue Sky my heart skips a beat because I think it's Far Far Away. Not that there's anything wrong with Sky Blue Sky of course -- it's just not Far Far Away. Cool poster! Thanks for the links to your blog.

I believe it is from Warner Bros Customer Service ( wbrcustserv@emsi.echomail.com ) . Check your junk mailbox. My yahoo addy did not consider it spam but maybe your mail provider did. So yeah, I'm assuming it's real. I'm not sure why anyone would bother to fake it. And ... I cannot WAIT for live Neil.

Dang, you ARE on a roll! I know I did not win, but I also might not have entered because I really could not have attended. I love Aimee Mann though. Enjoy the show! It should be really interesting because I have heard before (on one of her DVDs, I think) that other musicians in her band love working with her because her songs are so well crafted.

Wendy replied to Gobias Industries's topic in After The Show
No, you know what? That is the real thing straight off the camera. True confession: It's a new camera and I have no idea what the settings are, I just put the battery and storage stick in and pressed the button. In Columbus, there were half a dozen professional photographers with press passes standing in the center aisle of the pit taking tons of pictures of JT & Wilco during the first few songs, then they were ushered out. So I would check some of the newspapers and search online photo places like maybe flickr, and you'll be certain to find MUCH better shots. And if you do, cou -
email update I love it when things work out well in the end.

Museum quality work, Peter.

Today's a little anticlimactic - nothing I have to do today except work and sleep. But I'm still so happy today. I just keep smiling about how much fun I've had seeing Wilco two nights in a row! Meeting up with new friends (and Wilco newbies!) in Columbus, and then old friends in Detroit (you're the best!), and to have both be such stellar shows -- damn! I'm left with this overwhelming feeling of being a pretty lucky old girl. My head won't stop replaying so many cool moments, so I'm getting nothing done work-wise and had to cancel dinner out with mom. Sorry, mom. Thanks to a s
