  1. I knew what he was going to do to. However I thought their would have been something preventing him for actually killing Ben like the bullet hitting a pigeon or something (Am I the only person here who watches Kings?)
  2. If it where April 1 this would make sense. But last I checked it is 3/25/09. New Stooges Movie Casting
  3. I love it too. I tried reading it to my son (who is 4 and 1/2) and he did not get it at all. He did get Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peace, so I thought that would be good. But the wordplay when way way over his little head. For some reason though when I read it to him, I kept picturing the Danny DeVito as The Whether man.
  4. He wasn't juicing, he was probably doctoring the ball. Which we all know is ok.
  5. They did one that was half and half back in 1970 (IMDB Page Here). The animation was done by Chuck Jones and it looks very Bugs Bunny. I honestly don't think a movie of the Phantom Tollbooth would work. One of the pleasures of the book is the written word and the written phrasings. I don't think visually you can pull off the subltly of the written word. Reading it is like realizing 5th grade English class was cool.
  6. so are we saying this has leaked cause hook a brother up then.
  7. Mystery solved on the Charlotte age thing. Background: In Episode 4.02 "Confirmed Dead," Ben Linus rattles a bunch of information off about Charlotte Staples Lewis. Including her birthday. According to Ben Charlotte was born in 1979. Which would mean that the little redhead girl that Daniel saw in 5.08 "LaFleur" could not be Charlotte because she was not born yet in 1974. In the Official Lost audio podcast dated 3/19/09 the producers where asked about this and if they could identity the little girl (ghost, hallucination or what not). The producers said this (and I am paraphrasing):
  8. Sawyer mentions to Jack that Faraday says there are rules to what they can and cannot do. This may explain the Ben thing. They could have tried to do something with Ben, but could not because of these "rules." And maybe why that is why Faraday is no longer with them, he tried to change the future (ie with Charlotte) and something bad happened to him. You have to have faith in the writers here. If they show and explain everything at once, it wouldn't be a very interesting show now would it?
  9. I got to listen the game (assuming you are talking about USA's come back win against PR), thank you XM! It was awesome.
  10. and why are you complaining? chicago has gotten the majority of the shows in the past. suck it up and let some one else see wilco in their home town. plus milwaukee is pretty much a suburb of chicago anyway. drive the 90 mins and see them up there.
  11. So my garden is in my front yard, does that mean I am exempt from this?
  12. I needed the week off to reset my brain.
  13. the theory has a lot of holes for sure. But I likes it. Maybe it has something to do with Sun and the promise that Locke made to say that Jin was Dead. I dunno I am grasping at straws.
  14. last I saw it was 10-1 Venezuela in the 8th, so I think Italy got pretty much hosed.
  15. No I don't think it works like that. Remember before Daniel encountered Desmond in the past he said this would only work because Desmond is "special." Desmond had become unstuck in time in the past. The only way that Daniel was able to change the "past" is because Desmond is special. So if Ben meet Sawyer et al back in 1977 he has always remembered them. He would not get a sudden memory of them. Ben obviously is not letting on if he knew Sawyer et al, earlier in his life. I wonder if this has anything to do with the list back in season 2, which was Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley. Bu
  16. not the post apocalyptic hippies taking over thread I hoped.
  17. So what do they do? Kill young Ben? Watch 2009 Ben fade away ala Back to the Future? I like the idea that Sawyer et al, don't notice Ben. Do we no for sure that Ben has ever told Juliet that he lived with the Dharma folks? Yes the name Linus would be a tip off, but it is entirely plausible that they have never met. Remember Ben's dad was a "workman" and tell me do you know the last name of the janitor in your office building or apartment complex? I would guess not. Let along do you know his kids name? Not likely. It would be more plausible that young Ben noticed Sawyer, et al, and
  18. On Ben at the Dharma camp. Whereas it is likely he is at the camp the same time Sawyer et al, he may not be noticed by them. Ben is a man of mystery and are we sure that any of the group know that Ben was part of the DI? Sawyer, Jin, Miles, and Daniel probably do not. The question is about Juliet. She may not know, who knows what Ben told her. Remember Ben told John at one point that he was born on the island. He could have told Juliet a similar story. Who knows? They have no reason to think that Ben was part of the DI. So why would they think to for him there. Plus the DI is pro
  19. I just rewatched the episode. Although good not great. The one scene that bothered me was the scene between Horace and Sawyer when Horace was waking up from his binge. Sawyer was sitting there reading a book and the book had no cover. In Lost everytime a book has been shown we get the title, so fans can obsess over the book and its meaning to the episode and Lost as a whole. This time no cover what so ever. The writters dropped the ball on that one.
  20. too right. If it is someone we know (which I doubt) I don't think it can be anyone from Ben's "camp" because he killed all Dharma folks in the purge, including Horace. Here is an interesting theory for ya, the kid is Jacob.
  21. the kid was actually born in 1977. When the "last flash" occurred, Sawyer et al. ended up in 1974, when this kid was born it was 3 years later. So that would make the kid in his mid 20's when Oceanic 815 crashed.
  22. I'll think I'll post a yousendit type of thread in the coming days.
  23. Exactly what album are you talking about? Furr their latest came out last year. Or are you talking about their self titled debut in 2003. Also you will find quite a bit of discussion in this thread, titled oddly enough Blitzen Trapper. And yes they rock, and they are not the Wiggles. My son who is 4 and 1/2 loves "Sleepytime in the Western World," and calls the Wiggles baby music. Make your son listen to cool music. I make him mix tapes all the time of songs I think will think is cool. If you are interested in suggestions.
  24. Any guess who the woman was who look off in the boat with Lapidus? My guess is Sun.
