Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince: Let'S Hear From The Geeks!

I heard they left out the battle at Hogwarts (right before Dumbledore died) becasue their is a battle at Hogwarts at the end of Deathly Hallows and the director thought it would be redundant. -

Matt Smith's costume are relieved in this short segment from the BBC. interview with Benjamin Cook and Lizo Mzimba For those of you who don't want to sit through 7 mins of Brits talking Doctor Who, here is one of the pictures. What you can't see is his shoes which are shown here: And for fun, here is Matt Smith and the Sonic Screwdriver (which is new as well).

The NL game is more complex then the AL game. Double switches, bunts, hell it is fun. And yes seeing what a pitcher can do is pretty exciting. The AL game is a snooze fest. The AL game is more like checkers and the NL game is like chess. Probably an over simplification, but it is the way I see it.

DH is an abomination and the worst thing to happen to baseball.
-
That wasn't funny. I can see what they are trying to do there, but not funny. Not at all.
-
See my comment in the Billboard thread about larger venues, high ticket prices and more dumbasses.

prolly won't be Wrigley since they would have to do it in Oct or November when baseball season is over. Concerts tear the hell out of a field.

I like the All Star Game, now, the players are into it, the fans are into it. If it is meaningless then that goes away, I just don't want to see it turn in to the NFL pro bowl. If it is an exhibition of skill why not do a skills competition? Home Run Derby, Fly Ball catching, whatever. And in a recent interview Bud said it wasn't reactionary, that it had been in the works for a long time to make it mean something. Mostly to the urging of Ron Santo and Hank Aaron. I am not gonna convince anyone of anything. I just like to see a game where the players try. It is unfortunate that

So let's play the game in November in Vegas. Let's have guys be selected and not play because they are "hurt." Let's have guys play half assed, and leave when they are taken out of the game, so in the 9th inning the only guy left is the poor bull pen pitcher that still hasn't made in the game. Let' s have no one watch. Let's make it the pro bowl. Cause that what you are saying. The game has to mean something, otherwise why play? The gold gloves and sliver sluggers awards should be enough.

The All Star game is teh Mid Summer classic, it used to be a game where players played hard and tried to win, for pride, for whatever, it was a fun game to watch. In the 90's it was not that. Guys tried half assed players left early and more importantly no one watched the game. Now for a lack of a better phrase "This One Counts." The players have a vested interest the mangers have a vested interest and fans have a vested interest. It means something again. Would I like a better way of determining Home Field advantage, yes, but at the expense of the All Star Game no. The ASG has become

Interesting, though this close to Comic-Con, me thinks it may be viral. One to keep an eye on for sure.

My favorite is from Snakes on a Plane. "I have had it with these Monkey Fighting Snakes on this Monday to Friday Plane." But that is not about Bull Black Nova, which is not about Pulp Fiction.

The question is why do you care? My ability to enjoy a band has never been wrapped up in how much others like a band. So I never follow the "charts." It is nice to see the boys getting validation from the public has a whole. But I fear it has a downside. Mainly bigger live venues, more expensive tickets, and more dumbasses at shows. Hey but that is me.

fairly common in the national league. Or at least for the Cubs.
