You youngsters probably won't remember this but Dennis Miller used to actually be funny. He had what they called "rants". Really funny stuff. You can read about it in your History books. If there was such a thing as Future books, I believe that you would see Dennis morph into a guy with a bow tie singing about politics.

I often wonder about people that are offended by nursing. My wife nursed all 3 of our kids for 1 year a piece. She was very discrete about it and it never led to any 'incidents'. We have a woman on our block that we are friends with that nurses her 2 year old. She whips it out at the drop of a hat. I believe that all of our friends have seen this woman's tits despite our efforts to avoid it. A bit of a discretion is in order to save embarrasment.

I saw them live at the Fleadh festival many years ago. They were absolutely great live. They also stayed at the same hotel and we met them over breakfast the next morning. We were seated right next to John Doe and Exene. Very nice 'rock stars'. Enjoy the show.

Well, I first got into Marah when they opened for the Bottle Rockets about 8 years ago. Seeing as how they are still opening for the Bottle Rockets, that's got to be some sort of proof. Hell, the Bottle Rockets are underrated. Marah is severely F#@@ing underrated.

Was able to check out the "acoustic" set last night. Great show (albeit entirely too short). They were playing a full-band show later that night which I wasn't able to stick around for. These guys are one of the best live acts in the business. Sure seems like we don't here enough about them. When I see them, I feel like I am watching the Stones in their prime. Go see these guys.

wow, completely different experience on my side. I was lucky enough to see him solo in a "storytellers" type of environment at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago a few years back. He was absolutely incredible. The guy is one of the best guitarist around and he's very unique on the songwriting style/delivery. Not too many artists that I'd rather see solo again.
