Brady Quinn went from being a future millionaire, possible Heismann Trophy winner to being a potential CFL guy. This guy needs to buckle down, forget the beers and chicks, and focus on getting drafted.

I really do applaud Jack White on his association with this album. Personally, I had no interest in the White Stripes. Nothing against them... just didn't appeal to me. Van Lear Rose is a great album. Now Brendan Benson, old Solace turned a many Via Chicagoans on to him. Great power pop stuff. Raconteurs - do we give Jack the credit? Brendan? Either way, great shit.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this will be excellent. Anders is phenomenal and jay ain't too shabby.

Well, I agree with most of your musical choices anyway.

you just have to see them in moderation. twice a year max. I understand the medical need to where them. I just don't like them. My recommendation - at least the first time you see 'em, no ear plugs.

The Riviera is a great mid-size venue to see a band. Good sight lines, good sound... The Vic is a bit smaller and has many more poor sound spots. The Metro is much, much smaller and much, much better. That said, Riviera is a good venue.

Aside from the absolute horror of the tragedy that was 9/11, one of my most permanent memories was of work. I was in the Chicagoland area at work when it actually happened.
